Should never have walked back into the team in the first place. I wouldn’t be surprised if that pissed quite a few players off as Forster had done well and seems like a good bloke.

Farewell Hugo.

What a way to bow out. Not the way a captain for almost a decade should leave but this is Tottenham.

Sad to see him go out like this.

Feel like hes been hung out to dry. Been on the decline for a few years and a well run Club would have replaced him and have him leave on a good note.

True but he didnt come out after the game to applaud the fans either. No way he should. be captain
Would you come out and clap after that?

Interview said he had a bad problem in the hip so most likely injured. Seriously putting this on him is off.

It is time to go but the defence and midfield deserve way more pelters.

Good point. I hadn't heard that. I've never been a fan of a goalkeeper or forward being the captain. it is too difficult to lead from the back.

Possibly the worst keeper in the league now. Such a liability.

He is certainly not the best at the moment but it is pretty hard to tell if he is the worst given what has been happening in front of him. The amount of space we are offering up in our third combined with the speed at which we close down opposing players in the same third when we do put them under pressure creates a complete shitshow in front of him. He should have kept two out but the real problem is that he doesn't have faith in the defense nor they in themsevles or him as a collective.

shocking we've let his stock fall so low. should have been replaced as a legend 2 seasons ago.

He gave his best years to us, and I will always love him for that. He’s past it now but the club not replacing him isn’t his fault.

Hugo is just one of many examples that highlight the lack of proper succession planning in our squad. We know who is to blame for that…

I always hear he stuck with us when he could have gone somewhere else, did any other club actually bid or express interest in him? just asking because not sure I remember seeing anything

Shit captain and shit goalkeeper. Won’t be sad at all when he fucks off in the summer. Consistently let us down even when he was in his ‘prime’.
Ridiculous take. Do you have someone that looks after you? It's time to take your medication.

I'd say PSG awhile back were keen. Nothing came to fruition.

I was sickened to see we dropped Forster for Hugo to come back in tbh.
