That's not quite true, I remember Royal playing a lovely cross field ball towards the end of last season.I think he meant when has one of our WBs ever switched play like that. Certainly not seen Sess or Reggy hit one.

Granted, he was on the wide left at the time (for some unknown reason!) and played it over to where he should have been but if I recall correctly, it did lead to a goal., ?
Kane is, but he’s probably just out practice receiving them when playing for spurs lol. We're not great at getting on the end of crosses.
Won’t play every game due to his age and his demanding the position is but he looks like a beast and he’s a phenomenal player, Sess will also learn a lot from him, fantastic exciting signing, one of the best LWB’s in the world the last few seasons and these days 33 is like the new 28/29 so plenty of life left in Ivan yet.
Baller and can’t wait to see him tearing it up.
I seem to be different to the entire site on this. These are 2 Rangers people commentating on a preseason friendly on Rangers TV . Of course they don't know a whole lot about Spurs.Still can't stop laughing at those two commentators - Like a couple of pissed old geezers in a pub

For me I thought they were respectful and tried to be fair ,tho understandably they were more interested in Rangers.
A ton of grief has been loaded on them on SC re their commentary, I don't understand it .
