The biggest problem is that with our system the full (wing) backs need to be pacey. Davies is exposed for the same reason. Rose can do it as he is fast enough. But Trippier just isn't quick enough to play as a wing back in a flat back four.
you think he defended Sterling well on the opener?
Trippier is not good enough 1v1 he also not react quick enough. We need to upgrade our full backs esp right back
3 quarters of this tie he was very good, it just goes to show how small minded and pathetic you are if you're digging him out for a poor quarter on one of our best nights as a Spurs fan to date.
What the actaul fuck is wrong with people, do you not get bored with your BS?
dont be a condescending prick. it was atrocious defending on their first goal. if that makes you feel insecure I dont know what to tell you.
you too, mate.Have a night off mate.
Got any clips of this? Love it! HahaTripps, what the fuck mate? Gifted city 2 goals then have the gumption to shush them after the tie? You fucking came through their academy, no less. Come on, mate. That’s just poor form and makes you look stupid.

The inability of some folk to disassociate the result with an individual's performance is a bit weird. Tripper was very poor in the first half yesterday; the fact we progressed doesn't alter this.
I think it's weird that we have one of the best footballing games of all time, the best result in at least 30 years for spurs and people choose to pick apart one persons performance over getting carried away. I don't understand why people can't just enjoy last night and the next couple of days. This feeling is so rare for spurs.

its not really that weird that people express opinions about trippier in the trippier thread.I think it's weird that we have one of the best footballing games of all time, the best result in at least 30 years for spurs and people choose to pick apart one persons performance over getting carried away.
