I actually would not be adverse if Man City really do want him swapping him for 25-30 mil plus Raheem Sterling (call me crazy but with silva coming in at man city and sane there) I think they may leave sterling go.

Well you're not crazy for wanting that to happen - but mad if you think that City would entertain anything of the sort.

That'd value Walker at £70m-ish. That's some fairytale. Zero chance.

I'd take sterling in a heart beat, think Poch would take him to real heights. Potential to be devastating with that electric acceleration.

I like Walker and I wouldn't be against telling City to do one and Walker to calm down he's going no where but for a 27 year old if we can get £50M for him that is a lot of money and at the end of the day if we want to compete with those around us we have to do better business, especially as we don't have their resources [yet]. Selling one player for 50M in a position we could cover with existing players or spend some on someone new and maybe get one maybe two more players to fill out the squad with more depth could be the difference in us qualifying for the Champions League again next season in what will be one very difficult season at Wembley .

We don't exist in a vaccum, If they are signing a GK from Portugal and Mendy from France for 35 and 40M then Walker is worth more. He is English, At a good age 27, coming off two of his best seasons, and has approx 4-5 years left on his contract. We won't be looking for less than those two or the same we will be asking for more. Anyone would.

Sorry why is Walker worth anywhere near Sterling?

The more I think about it, would be a great bit of business for us adds what we need pace, dribbling and something different.

But then more I also think about It Man City need all the english players they can get.

I agree that he could really add some excitement to our attack. I do question his shot though. I can't remember the last time he put his foot through the ball. Every goal seems to be an in the box type of goal. Which I am fine with, just saying I can't remember him every pulling a Son from outside the box.

I think his wages is above Kane's.

not interested in Sterling:
1. on crazy high wages
2. way he left Liverpool doesn't bode
well
3. can't see him being happy of the bench and he isn't good enough to start in the 3-5-2 or the 4-2-3-1

He's not though, he was exceptional for Liverpool. Hasn't hit those heights with City yet, but he's proved how devastating he can be at this level. Just needs to rediscover it.
He's got pace definitely, and quick feet on occasion...but no final ball and hes unware. For me that's the shame, he is to my eyes lennon mk2. As for his shooting ability......the less said the better.
