Watching clips of this guy just makes me more excited, can’t remember the last time we had someone this skilful.

His ability to just change the pace of a game is so exciting, especially for those games where we have to soak up pressure and hit on the counter attack. Perfect for the way we should play at Anfield.

Respectfully, I really have to disagree with TV who knows his onions anything S America.

I liken Moura to a 22/23 Ronaldinho, who we all know what he went on to become in a 3-4 peak year period. He is a tad behind on technical brilliance, but more than a tad further in the pace department.

Well that is how I dreamt him to be :X3:

Hmm... just read that Tim Vickery article: https://investobet.com/blog/can-lucas-moura-finally-turn-promise-into-reality-at-tottenham

Sounds like a very spurs-style signing :(

Hope it's wrong :)

I haven’t got a problem with this. Vickery is a top journo (and a Yid) and is very honest in his assessments of players, and he can see promise. I tend to agree with him that Moura may well have found his ideal coach in Poch.

I’d certainly rather have him on the bench against Juventus than N’Goingnowhere

Fair enough point, but i am not sure Ligue 1 is overly competitive.

I am for his signing if Poch wants him and at the mooted price.

However, i dont expect too much from him (just yet from what i have seen).

Definitely agree with the prudency of your approach, we need to give him time. What he will bring, which has been missing for too long, is genuine flair and unpredictability.

They're opposite footed. Malcom is a left footer like Lamela and would be on the right cutting in, Moura is right footed and would play primarily on the left.

Moura May be right footed but he’s very much a right sided play from what I’ve seen, which admittedly isn’t much.

Hello one and all, newbie on the forum here, but I've been visiting this site for quite a while now. Looking forward to seeing he Moura deal get over the line. I'm hoping he can give us another dimension and the ability to unlock some of those compacted defences that come to Wembley. Coys

Tim Vickery doesn't really say a lot in his article. If anything he just bangs on about his early career in Brazil, playing for the national team and the mistakes that were made by the coaching staff to select him when they shouldn't have. He doesn't even cover any part of his time at PSG because he probably didn't watch him during that time.

The stats speak for themselves in terms of his production. He's been a valuable player for PSG and is only surplus to requirements now because they have moved into another universe with their ridiculous spending.

The one thing you can say is that Vickery makes the point about Poch and how if he responds well to training then he could really hit his peak.

Having Aurier at the club will be he huge in helping him settle.

I don't think anyone is expecting him to come here and become our best player but equally he adds depth where we are lacking and experience. At the price we're paying, there is very little downside to this signing.

Jeeze man I think you need a lie down if you liken him to Ronaldinho.. he shouldn't even be mentioned in same breadth as Ronaldinho. .
He's a technically more gifted & harder working Theo Walcott.. good finisher.. but often just looks at ball & runs

1) He’s clearly joking.
2) Walcott? Wise up.

Comparing him to Walcott is so painfully stupid. Walcott also scored over 100 goals for Arsenal, he's not a bad player. If Lucas is a more technically gifted and harder working Walcott, we'd have some player on our hands.

If Walcott worked harder and was more technically gifted, he'd be one hell of a player so I can live with this.
