Moura to me showed he is capable during the time he had has had with us.

Its true he hasnt played against top opposition but if he couldnt get some reasonable amount of time on the field against a team like Stoke then when woukd we know.

We know there have been players that turned out really well that didnt get so much respect early with us,Bale for one and its too early to say where Moura is headed but here is a game where he easily could have played.

Its possible Poch doesn't like say the defensive side of his game, its posdible...buthe hss shown inventiveness from mid on up...
So why not play him. Its baffling.

Moura was very unhappy with not playing for PSG....if he wasnt good enough why pay 28 mil or whatever for him to sit?

We were poor against Stoke and playing out a nervy 2-1 - not the game to bring on a talented tricky winger where without seeing much of him myself, the biggest question is probabaly about his off the ball work and ball retention

Sissoko and Son both filled remits that needed filling at the time due to injures.
We haven't lost a game yet so that question is academic.

Who do you suggest we drop for Lucas?

Drop. Thats a bad word. Use a less political word like Rotate

I thought it was quite good..his off the ball work and ball
retention. And he passed it well.

I havent seen much of his defensive game but maybe thats why Poch is hesitant.

Still he needs more game.

It funny but had we drawn and not brought him on what would everyone said?

lol it's the same thing...okay then who does he 'rotate' with out of Kane, Lamela, Son, Dele or Eriksen?

I think maybe Son.He had had about 5 ineffective games.
I would have given a chance for Moura creating some chemistry with others before he gets called into action. This was Stoke.

Poch has made it perfectly clear in his interviews and books that he believes in slow integration and training hard to get into the team.

It truly baffles that Spurs fans don’t grasp this.

Gosh I love the internet! Throws up some characters

We won. There is zero logic to what you are saying making up an alternative scenario that didn’t happen and then justifying why we should have played Lucas in that scenario

I don’t even know why I’m bothering here

But if we lost would you be wrong?

I think that’s how this works.

Son is one of our most dangerous players ffs, that doesn't make any sense!

Fact is you can't just go around dropping in form players messing up the team dynamic just because others aren't getting a look in, it sets a bad precedent and there's no guarantee if Lucas would have fared better against Stoke anyway, what's more we actually won the game, we've won 6 in a row if you hadn't noticed so why do you want to change a winning team to accommodate one player, that's a really dumb idea no offence.

Sanchez immediately got into the team.
Can you give me the deeper meaning if that?

Its tbe same thing?

No its not!

Taking a player out the team if they're not injured or suspended is dropping them no matter how much you want to spin it, it's even worse when a player is playing well.

You don't have to make this argument hard work dude with semantics and pettiness, let's not waste time with nonsense like this please.

Sanchez played after a preseason and started in cup games .

We bought Moura mid season when he had played almost no games all season.

Anyone can see the difference in the situations so I am going to assume you are a troll, your posts are making little sense.

Petty?

No its true. The connotation of dropping is negative especially in the way ypu are using it. Replacing a player with another player can be positive for the squad.
Or is that more pettiness on.my part?

Son scored 5 goals in March, 4 in the league and1 v Juventus. He’s in the discussion for March player of the month. March ended fewer than two weeks ago and there’s someone here bonkers enough to suggest his place should be in question because he was a little below par v Chelsea and Stoke? Madness.

No sorry Im not a troll. I think he has some talent and in view of expanding our options we could play him more.
