We did sub Son, for Lamela, who has been playing her well off the bench lately and has proven the right choice for that situation.

Just suggesting that Moura could get some chances to play in the first team.

We beat Stoke. I guess he wont get a chance against City or United.

Taking a player out the team if they're not injured or suspended is dropping them no matter how much you want to spin it, it's even worse when a player is playing well.

Moura will get chances off the bench if the game necessitates it. But right now he's rightly behind Eriksen, Alli, Son and Lamela. And if we're leading narrowly we're much more likely to see a defensively solid substitution like Wanyama or Sissoko than Lucas.

Realistically though, it won't be til next season that he's regularly doing more than making the bench.

Good post. I agree I just thought that he could have played against Stoke..not for tactical reasons.
But we might need a change during those big games coming and he hasnt played a game with us at that level
Stoke was a perfect opportunity to play a half an hour.
