If Levy is indeed going out on a limb to sign Moura when Poch isn't too fussed that's quite interesting, in the hope it can help our season.

What do the Levy has no ambition crowd say then?

Why didn't he just pay £80m and sign Mahrez I assume
Where have you got this from? I’ve not seen prev posts. Who has said we’re trying to get him but poch doesn’t want him?

I know it's been cleared up -- but the potential news about Poch not being aligned with Levy seems a bit odd, if they were showing him around their training ground. You'd think they wouldn't take it that far if the manager hasn't expressed any interest.

That said, it's a moot point by the sounds of it.

I hope we bring the guy in. We could use some extra creativity in the team. As long as he can play the Poch way, I can imagine he'll be quite impactful.
Where has this come from that poch and levy not aligned? :( that’s very concerning.

Interesting... tactically will be very interesting as it likely means we stick at 4231.

I dunno about this guy, looks like the brazilian townsend in his playing style. Does buying him diminish the chances of signing malcom for the summer? Would definitely prefer malcom due to his better technical ability

I’m obviously dreaming as it seems there is a chance we might actually Sign someone and someone good?!

I won’t hold my breath but this would be best most exciting high profile attacking signing since VDV, hands down.

Moura is proven absolute quality, Malcom
More potential but way less proven. Moura would be an unreal signing which is why I’m sceptical.

That was Eriksen for me.

I wasn't around back then (on this forum) but I don't think this is more exciting than Eriksen/Lamela/Soldado. Eriksen and Lamela were two of the biggest prospects in all of Europe and Soldado was banging in 20+ goals per year in Spain.

I don't see why we can't have Moura and Malcom.

We have Son and Dele in similar roles but behind that our depth is not great.

Lamela looks a shadow of a player that hadn't consistently hit the heights in the first place.

GKN isn't of the required quality.

Who knows how Sissoko fits in.

Andy Reid is long gone.

There's more than enough space for both of them.

Sonny, Eriksen, Lamela, Alli, Moura, Malcom - all very different players I think which would give us great depth but surely someone has to miss out??

I think it's a bit harsh on Lamela, he's only just returned from a really long lay-off. Needs a bit longer than that.

Unless Eriksen or Alli are going to drop deeper?

Sorry , what a load of BS...
Just because Lucas is bald like Townsend, doesnt mean he can be compared to him. A Brazilian Townsend is still better than a Townsend...

Malcom - Have you ever seen Malcom play regularly ? I doubt that as he plays for a relegation threatened side.
As for as Lucas - from what I have seen of him over the years, he is pretty good player at a CL level. He scored 19 goals & assisted 11 last season. He is replaced in PSG side by a 220m player. And we have Lamela & Sissoko , players who are struggling to hit the net or assist. So, lets come down from the lofty perch. We need a tricky wing forward who is proven at CL level.
Your comment suggest Lucas doesnt have technical ability. Sorry, thats soooo wrong.

IMO, Lucas ticks all the box. Malcom signing is welcome. But lets not compare the two.

It's going to be really tough to get top 4 this season, especially considering our rivals are strengthening in this window. Therefore, it would be great business to get a player who imo has got a lot of quality, doesn't cost too much and also is the type of player many of our fans have been asking for. You don't get the chance to sign those kind of players in January very often. Really hope we can pull this off.
