Because psg have just signed neymar and mbape. They need to raise €70m before the summer to comply with ffp. Moura didn't want to leave in the summer so psg have frozen him out.
I look forward to reading many "FFP Moura! :banghead:" posts in future match threads.

I swear this world is going mad. First Trump takes office and now an 18 year old is going for €100 mil+ (Mbappe). Does anyone else miss the simple days when teams could pay £5 mil or less for a talented teenager that may not pan out?
I miss the days of buying Simon Davies and Matthew Etherington for a combined £1.2m. I miss the days, mark you, not the football... :D

As the much appreciated ITK has suggested. We might well be signing Moura.

I'll reserve judgement as to whether he'll be a success or not until he has hopefully signed and been afforded a reasonable amount of game time to adjust to the league.

What I will say, if he does indeed join Spurs, it certainly gives us a chance of strengthening the team, we wouldn't get this chance by signing nobody at all.

On that basis, at present, can't be seen as anything other than a positive from me.

Time will tell.

Would be very happy with this signing. A sign of ambition and would improve the squad in my opinion.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but I saw a picture on twitter of the clubs website which showed Lucas will wear the #9 shirt for us

He's too late

From the YouTube clips he looks slightly better than N'Jie and GKN

What really swings it though is his potential back flip goal celebration

Could be the best celebration we’ve seen since Jose Dominguez

It’s not like he’s coming in to replace the likes of Hazard or Mahrez in our squad so there’s no argument about comparing him to those players.

Sissoko has had a lot of playing minutes this season and if Moura is given those minutes when we (if) sign him, then I think it is an upgrade. Even if he doesn’t start so often (with our injured players back in the squad), it’s still an upgrade on our bench.

I hate these lazy comparisons between N'jie and GKN. Moura is a player with 228 appearances for PSG and 36 Brazil caps, N'jie and GKN were both players who only made about 40 appearances each in the French leagues. He is a level above, he was a regular player, starting most games for PSG in ligue 1 the last two seasons, despite having competition from Pastore, Draxler and others.
