Because he's behind Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria, Draxler, etc.Tbh haven’t seen him play properly. Anybody know why he can’t get into the PSG team?

Why would it mean no Malcom? They could easily both play in the same XI while giving other players a rest or to change the way our attack is run. I think Moura is a signing that will assist for the remainder of this season and Malcom will come in the summer to be one, of hopefully many, big signings to boost the team ahead of the new stadium.I’m not gonna pretend I know or have seen a lot of Lucas, apart from clips. However he looks like he could be very handy, and having a new signing like him over none is only positive.
I think the negative response to this signing is more of an exaggeration, due to having their beaks wet by the prospect of signing Malcom who is younger and considered a better prospect and are sounding out because they believe signing Lucas means no Malcom.
I think if we weren’t linked with Malcom, people’s opinions and reactions to this potential signing would have been very different.

It's the other way round: the announcement cannot happen until we hit 100 pages. If we keep going with this circular "he looks shit I'm not fussed if we don't sign him"/"don't be so fucking stupid he looks amazing" thing we'll hit 100 pages well before the announcement.
Not in the PSG squad today.
Food for thought for those thinking we are signing a PSG reject.
Ignoring the pretty obvious aspect that Mbappe and Neymar are two of the world's very best players who restrict his first team chances, it seems that PSG are forcing the player out due to needing to comply with regulations. As Moura plays in the same position as both Mbappe and Neymar and considering the status of these players, it's unthinkable to substitute or rotate either of these players, especially when egos come into play. Which is one way to look at his lack of appearances, but I think this has allowed PSG to identify players who they could offer around to other clubs, and Moura was probably the number one option to do this. We were linked with him last summer but there were also rumours that he did not want to leave as he was settled in Paris and his wife was heavily pregnant, therefore he probably refused to entertain any offers. Reading into this situation and his statuses on social media it appears to me that this is a player who has been ostracised from the club and made to feel very unwelcome.
So , we aren't getting a player who couldn't get into this PSG team, we are getting player who has purposely had his game time restricted to ensure that he feels he needs to leave. IMO
Lucas in his younger days. Do we have anyone in our team that can beat players this easily?
So much negativity about him. We have been crying out for some pace for ages, he seems exactly what we need and yeah okay he hasn't lived up to his expectations at PSG but there's a world class player in there somewhere.
Love it if we got both, but I can’t see it. Onions and thatWhy would it mean no Malcom? RS for £50 mil!?!? No way!!! I’m pretty sure I read it will be closer to £25-30 mil, but IMO, that’s still a shitload of money to spend on a teenager.
This is very true and I believe that if Spurs ever have the chance to sign those types of outcast players from those teams for a relatively small fee then they should be jumping on the chance. Could be great business. Definitely better than taking punts on unknowns from Ligue 1.Unreasonable expectations... all quality players whom go to the giant clubs and don’t put in a star performance every week are frozen out or classed as underachievers. Real Madrid - Bale has been getting booed, Modric wasn’t liked for a good year or so, Benzema isn’t 1st choice, whereas others have been left out in the cold - Callejón, Illarramendi, James Rodriguez, Danilo, Kovacic, Dani Ceballos etc. At clubs like Real, Barca and PSG, unless you’re performing like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, M’bappe etc every week then you’re not loved.

I swear this world is going mad. First Trump takes office and now an 18 year old is going for €100 mil+ (Mbappe). Does anyone else miss the simple days when teams could pay £5 mil or less for a talented teenager that may not pan out? We’ve had ITK that Fulham want crazy money for Sessegnon and it’s a damned sight higher than £25m.

Wages though Woody. Fees may be reduced but there will either be a massive signing on fee or large wages. The unknowns won’t want so much. This is very true and I believe that if Spurs ever have the chance to sign those types of outcast players from those teams for a relatively small fee then they should be jumping on the chance. True but it's nice to see us signing a high-profile talent.Wages though Woody. Fees may be reduced but there will either be a massive signing on fee or large wages. The unknowns won’t want so much.
