Will be interesting to see how the club handle the announcement - we are never creative enough imo.

I'd like to see a promo video of Rose playing FIFA 18, turning around nodding with a big smile and thumbs up, and then pan up to see that he is playing for Spurs, as Lucas ...

That's too expensive for Levy. It will be some animation an intern has cobbled together in ms paint.

Don't think it matters much. Presumably Pochettino has been preparing himself and the team for a while. He doesn't strike me as a guy who wakes up and tosses in an unknown factor in such a high profile match.

Yes.

Aurier?

Obvs wouldn't start but surely couldn't hurt to have him on the bench if we're allowed

I'm really hoping for '@SpursOfficial are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with @PSGOfficial for the permanent transfer of @LucasMoura subject to a work permit being approved'

Might be a tad too ambitious for our creative team but fingers crossed

GKN's was handled pretty creatively...so I think they have it in them.

How about a mock video of Levy having Patrick Bateman style sex with some sort of effigy depicting ‘the transfer window’, with Richard Keys in the foreground saying ‘£25m for Moura? Did Levy smash the transfer window - nope, he’s hanging out the back of it’, followed by a thumbs up

I would be seriously impressed with that

Signed on 31st of August, debut on 13th of Sept. Hardly the same. One would suppose that a new signing starts a game at some point after signing, but most often not 24 hours after signing if it's a high profile game.

Sarcasm aside, he hadn't made a single appearance and had been away on international duty, on the other side of the world, from the day he signed until the Thursday and was then started in a must win game if we were to qualify on Wednesday. To me that's being thrown in.

Probably quite a useful player to bring off the bench against Liverpool actually, should we need a late goal. They’re quite susceptible to pace.

Let’s hope it goes through in time.
