Watching him yesterday he gave me real Aaron Lennon vibes with his dribbling/ running style.

He seems to have adapted well and contributed effectively in pre-season, and seems like a really nice kid too. Think he has real potential & I’m pleased with the signing so far.

Such a great option to have. He’s just unlike any of our other players and he’s going to give teams a totally different problem to deal with whether he comes off the bench later in the game, or starts.

💯 as much as it was a bit controversial getting him effectively on a free was very very good business.

Wish we had a clone of him we could have as a back-up to RW also.

Really enjoy watching him play.

Thought he looked decent on the right, although it was against the sailors and the poor fullback had no chance. On the right he’s a different prospect because he’ll go outside and be a bit more of an orthodox winger.

that's exceptional!

think i like the most about what i've seen so far is his committment on the pitch. looks like he's trying to earn his place which is all you can really ask for. looks good!

Could become an unexpectedly key player for us if Son continues to struggle for form and health

I wonder how long Son's dip in form has to continue before he loses his starting spot. Hopefully Ange will be quicker to mix things up compared to Conte who played Son throughout with an injury, even though we had Richarlison and Danjuma on the bench.

I thought Son was better on Sunday, and he definitely seemed to work well with Udogie. Still not the Son of his Golden Boot season, but steps in the right direction in my eyes. I said how much i liked Solomon in this thread yesterday, but i would still have Son starting over him at the moment - Solomon would be a very dangerous player off the bench against tiring opposition imo.

Interesting a few of us said his style is similar to Hazard, turns out he is his idol.
I like what i have seen of him, he just needs to be allowed and be brave enough to take on players "all the time" when he comes on. The small sample size we have seen, he looks like he can be our best one on one palyer.

He just needs the confidence to do it more.

Why is this thread on the transfer board?

I don't think he expected himself to be the third choice LW when he came here.
He is definitely not suited for the right side either.

He'll get a shot on Tuesday to earn some more minutes.

But, I am not going to complain about Ange's selections, nor man management.

It is no bad thing to have a quality player to introduce as a variable later on in the season when your main set up starts to hit a wall.

Think it hasn’t just been moved yet.

They stay in the transfer thread until the window closes and then get moved
