"nothing encapsulated their dizzying supremacy quite like the sight of Sissoko running the midfield like a one-man anarcho-syndicalist cell"

He's like a man possessed atm. Totally ran the middle of the park tonight, so happy to see him playing so well

Looked well worth the 30 million we payed for him again tonight. He’s been superb this past month or so and long May it continue.

When he’s on form and dominating like tonight, his athleticism and power more than make up for his technical deficiencies.

Today he was like Essien at his very best for Chelsea, or better praise, Sissoko from Euro2016. Great performance, his turnaround combined with Winks continued improvement makes the inevitable loss of Dembele for free next summer seem rather unconcerning.

Don't know if anyone has posted it already but here's a quite hilarious review of our legend in the making Sissoko

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...ls-result-report-moussa-sissoko-a8650491.html
..he always looks so utterly startled to have the ball at his feet. Every time he gets it, he stares at it for a moment, as if this were a turn of events he had scarcely bargained for.
“Why did none of you warn me?” you can see him beseeching his team-mates, while he gamely grapples with this mysterious white orb bobbling off one of his many legs.

Pretty much true, but he is making that pass now and he is trusted to make it. He is breaking up play. tracking back and making runs. Full of confidence, he is a totally different player.

His technical deficiencies are hardly noticeable nowadays. I can't remember him putting a foot wrong tonight

He played a pass out for a throw in whilst under pressure at some point during the second half, i remember. However we were under the cosh at that point and the reaction within the stadium wasn't groaning, more "that's alright, it's got us out of danger so it's appreciated"

How old is he? Hopefully he can stay at this level. His stamina is so good for someone with such muscle mass. Plus his power as well to burst forward and back and grappling with opponents. Very impressed

That independent article is brilliant. The bit about pochettino” even if it’s not in you I’ll still find it “

If we had just signed Sissoko this season, we'd be raving about him and saying how good £30m was in terms of price.

You can't ignore the last 2 years of shite, but this year he's genuinely been one of our best players.

One of my favourite players right now and I’m not even ashamed. He’s such a presence on the pitch, we don’t even miss Dembele right now because of how much he’s stepped up. I’m so happy for him and you can see he genuinely realizes the fans are starting to take to him.

His confidence is sky high at the moment, which means he’s far more composed on the ball. He’s picking the right option almost every time and not rushing anything.

Fair fucks to him. It’s been a great turnaround. He’s got his Euro 2016 form back

Great performance yesterday, absolute beast in CM. Also the blood and thunder tackle on the edge of our box was excellent
