Man, it’s harsh but I so hope to never have to watch Winks or Sissoko ever play for Spurs again. Truly painful to watch both of them.

It's crazy to think that those two were our starting midfielders in the champions league final.

Bet Liverpool were licking their lips when the teamsheet came out.

Can't believe we actually paid £30 million for this guy, what a waste. Think he seems like a great guy on a personal level so hope he does well wherever he goes, although I do think a change of sport/career would be best for the footballing community as a whole.

Don't think I will ever be so happy to see a player leave, no coincidence that his increase in playing time and influence in the dressing room has coincided with our decline

Not harsh at all, a serious club would have got rid of him many years ago, miracle and also depressing his lasted this long

Excellent news, hopefully he and Winks both leave and we bring in a promising CM to rotate with and/or challenge Ndombele and Lo Celso for a place in the team. Hojbjerg, Skipp, Ndombele, GLC and a new signing would make for a very strong midfield so long as we get the signing right, which I trust Paratici to do. Nile John can play in the Conference League and then go out on loan for the second half of the season if his play generates interest in the Championship or League One IMO.

I'm in no way a Sissoko fanboy. I spent the 1st few years throwing shit at the tv whenever I saw him, BUT, I do think it would be disingenuous if I failed to mention that I thought he drastically improved that season and a bit leading up to the champions league final. Yes, he is incredibly limited and I won't cry about him leaving, but some of his performances in central midfield during that period were excellent and I'd rather remember him for that brief time.

Agree, but we let Dembele go and didnt sign anybody so were forced to play him. Mistakes made all round really.

He improved but was still absolute shite imo.

A lot of people thought Sissoko was one of our players of the year the CL final season. He isn’t technically good enough to play CM though and time he is moved on.

Not a Sissoko fan but I think it's harsh to overly-jubilant at his exit. Was one of our best players in 2018 (I think, or maybe 2019), was used as a central midfielder instead if his actual position as as a right-sided attacking midfielder, and that handball in the champs league final was never a handball

Probably stayed a season or two too long but I wish him well

I applaud his spirit to prove many of us wrong after he first signed, which he improved and deservedly got the fans player of the year some years later.

But his fucking hiding and finger-pointing gesture after that season since was abhorrent.

He had stayed far too long. Was his original contract that long or was there a renewal? He would have been so less hated by fans if he was gone last season instead.

Looking at some of the comments here, Poch and Deschamps must be two of the worst managers on the planet for ever giving Moussa game time , Oh I forgot Jose also gave him a few matches , another rubbish manager.

He signed a new contract in 2019
