Let's hope he hides for Watford the same way he did for us the last couple of years.

He's obviously a good bloke and I wish him well etc but thank fuck he's gone. The opportunity cost of signing him was absolutely enormous.

I shudder to think of what we could have achieved if we'd signed a top-quality player instead of blowing £30m on him.

what an admin fuck up
But how did Watford able to do that is my next question if the deal was completed beyond the 12pm deadline for registration. Is the club still not updated with some new regulations or what.

A bit of meh feeling if I'm honest..

He was signed before the deadline

The announcement was after the deadline

Or..maybe we did know that he would be registered in time & he would end up playing. Hojberg & Skipp know exactly what Sissoko is all about so that shouldn't worry them.

But Ally Gold's tweet was saying the completion was after the deadline:

Surprise from Spurs' end that Moussa Sissoko is playing for Watford today. Seems like they assumed he wasn't registered in time for 12pm on Friday as the deal was not completed until much later in the afternoon.

But anyway, still quite confident of the game ?

Assumption is the mother of all fcuk ups

Although Sissoko starting for Watford isn't a fcuk up for me

I am sure we (the club) are not unhappy moussa is starting.

Not because he is shit, but more because we are happy to give him a decent reception.

Watching Skipp (as an Aussie I will call him skippy the bush kangaroo) and watching sissoko, is like chalk and cheese.

So glad we are on the right side with both these guys.

Edit: yes I appreciate what sissoko did for us, but best he is gone and great we have the bush kangaroo.

Good to see he got a great reception. pleased Watford couldn’t convert when Sissoko skinned Dele to the byline In his best moment of the game.
