He's taking a drive down the Trippier highway. They love a Spurs fullback at Atletico.
Different this time in that Doherty is a wing back who signed for a manager playing fullbacks and now has a manager who plays wing backs. We keep the full back instead (who Atletico were linked with in the summer) and they take our wing back. It's all a bit odd although I do prefer to keep Emerson as Doherty has been poor.

Sky reporting we have given up Edwards’ sell on clause. How much has that taken off Porto’s price ? I don’t know what Edwards would cost in today’s market, but our percentage must be a fair chunk of cash.

Surely with the loan to buy deals we have been doing a lot lately the cash is put in a later date, hence why we maybe don't have the budget to chuck a load around. I don't know the details but didn't we have to pay for Kulu, Romero and also money put aside for Danjuma if we take up the option? Some of the budget has just been kicked down the road but you have to pay it as some point.
Yep, all true. But then that would mean that earlier windows had a lower spend (e.g. Deki/Romero) which is why I don't get that feeling of the money flowing. However, it's just a feeling and without seeing the latest accounts - and somebody like Swiss Ramble translating into pleb talk - I'm certainly not judging.

@Timberwolf has a very good point about player sales - another item for the Summer to-do list. I guess all those players out on loan are still hitting the balance sheet through amortisation. Rings true with some of Conte's early comments about having to work around our past mistakes before truly pushing on.

But it will be great to see Porro holding up the shirt. Interesting to see if we get the full details of the actual deal, then fingers crossed for some good news by midnight!

They also reported we have no forward options and pedro porro is defensive. We've given up 15 of the 50%

So do the board get any praise now for backing Conte and delivering the best available right back? Or do you only remember the anger because you followed the click bait on/off articles on twitter like a bunch of teenagers on their first period? ?
no, because backing the manager should be a given for any club (unless shown hes not capable).

Now thinking this loan and us effectively moving the cash around is to avoid drawing down that extra £50mil from the summer and not diluting the shares further. Makes sense if a takeover discussion is happening, means the financial picture isn’t changing during chats.

Edit: immediately proved wrong haha

"Here I am, stuck in the middle with you"
That AI pic of Levy, I can picture Antonio listening to K-Billy's Super Sounds of the 70s and going to work on Levy with a razor. It's what being surrounded by clowns and jokers can do to a man.

Now that Porro is pretty much nailed on, it would be nice to know who Conte's number 1 choice was seeing as it allegedly wasn't PP.
