The flip side is that Deki really is at his best when playing out wide. The last few games Royal has been making more inside runs, to good effect, while Deki plays wider.

With Porro, he looks capable of making either the overlap or inside runs - so hopefully he and Deki can work well together.
What makes you think Deki is at his best out wide?

Think my point wasnt clear, mate.

What I am trying to say is that despite TAA, Zinchenko and Cancelo operating as FBs, they are not renown for their defensive abilities. They are actually quite average in this regard and defensive positioning is something that has let all of them down.

However, they defend on the front foot, so if we changed to a coach who uses a back 4, then it wont be an issue if he plays on the front foot.

Like Reguillon at Sevilla, in a back 4. He was aggressive and not the greatest defensively but it got the best out of him offensively.

If we got in a defensive coach who uses a back 4 then of course, youd see his weaknesses much more and we'd suffer.

I think Porro has those qualities that allow him to defend on the front foot and in 1v1s. Like when we had Rose and Walker.
Ah sorry mate then yes completely agree with this.

Are we actively trying to sell either of them? I know people want them gone, but looks like Spence is the one actually going out, Emerson RWB back up, with Doherty in the squad as at a pinch he can cover both sides if we have an injury crisis either side?

Ok, I don't get this. Bellerin (a la masia graduate) is happy to leave Barcelona in an instant. But it's seemingly impossible to get a player like Emerson or Doherty to leave.

I reckon our terms put alooot of clubs off taking those players off a us.

Hes played 3 games all season in La Liga and been available for all but 3. He may just want to play more football.

Alasdair Gold said early in the window neither player really wanted to leave. There had been a couple offers for Emerson apparently but the player wasn't interested.

JUST IN: Pedro Porro to #thfc is at risk!

After reaching a verbal agreement on Saturday, last night, there has been a disagreement.

Sporting CP are now demanding the release clause to be paid, Spurs are refusing to pay it. | @Record_Portugal

youve got to be fucking kidding
