I’d certainly say he is probably the most improved player that Ange inherited.

He‘s a baller. Seems to be unafraid of anyone. Also, like Romero, he is hyper competitive.

Still needs to improve defensively. But compared to last season, he has come on leaps and bounds.

I also love that opponents seem to underestimate him. They haven’t identified just how much of a threat he can be.

Hope we see him continue to improve.

do I want him to be a 10/10 offensive weapon and 10/10 defensive juggernaut, yes.

am i realistic in wanting a perfect 10/10 footballer, no.

He's definitely improved on his time with Conte but I think it's more a case that he was playing below his natural level under Conte than improving since Ange.

The moment Ange took over and questions were raised about our fullbacks I knew immediately that they would be brilliant. Especially Porro, from his time at Sporting, he would be very good in the half space and a very good option creating opportunities for box runners. Turns out he is perfect for this.

The other interesting thing is that some people think the right profile for this role is a CM who can play as fullback. But I actually see far more dynamism in our pair than most CMs. They are as close to being complete players as you can get.

There’s a lot of Stuart Pearce about him. He needs to watch some videos to see how Pearce positioned himself for scoring with his left from left wing.

Just love the guy’s mentality. Fantastic buy. Has plenty to improve on, but now genuinely good full back - and his technique is amazing
