Hopefully we’ll be back to a back four next season and if Poch comes back he’ll be able to polish him off.

Theres a really good all round left back in there.

Obviously we’ll also have Udogwie incoming, but I wouldn’t be quick to write Reggy off.

It’s pretty bloody awful that he was sent away in favour of Perisic.

Perisic can cross a ball and take a corner. Reggie can run around a lot.

Yean but Perisic can’t run about at all! ??

And being serious, Reggy has shown himself to be a brilliant crosser of the ball, so he needs to be coached better to bring best out of him.

I still don't understand what happened to this guy. Definitely a better player than Sessegnon.

Wonder if he will be back next season. Atletico surely aren't going to buy him. He's only played 5 games all season.

Injury hit season unfortunately for him.

In a back four he’s our best option next season.

Right side - Emerson & porro
Left side - Reguilón & Destiny

He’s one where I hope the manager gives him a chance in pre season. If the manager doesn’t rate him then move him on.

I hate to say it, but really indifferent about our squad situation until a manger is announced.

IF I had to try and solve our formation issues currently, I would probably try and keep Davies around (or target someone like Ake), which would be unpopular haha.

REASONING: Big issue with current set up is that people are saying Son and Perisic are too similar and occupy similar spaces. I look up the table and would work off what Pep is doing at Manchester City - with a few tweaks.

Davies (similar to Ake) would tuck/stay as the 3rd CB - with someone like Porro operating as the width on the right. In possession I would want Son to have the spance and width on the left touchline, looking something like 3-3-3-1:

Kane
Son - Kulusevski - Porro
PEH - Skipp - Sarr
Davies - Dier - Romero

Without ball revert back to 433. I just inputted current squad set up, I get excited by this set up when you start to insert an attacking 3rd MFer like James Madisson. The issues Son has had this season means if he stays around, I get a little worried about who we will need at LB, as I'm excited for Udogie like everyone else.

He can’t stay fit for one. His career is fucked.

He was always a catastrophe on the own end and rather nervous generally, not even a hint of calmness in his game. On top of that non-hg and he is with NDombele the first to be shown the door no matter who is the new manager.

He was weak in the tackle and lacked a final ball, some of you have very short memories.

We need to get rid and pick up someone else in the market.

If we start next season with him as our best left back then we've had a shocking window. I was surprised we let him go over Sess but neither are near good enough.

I'm fairly confident Udogie will be better than him even if he's never played as a left back.

Agreed. plus he has been injured for like a year. Can’t stay fit he’s so pointless.

I didn't think his end product was that bad. I can remember a few crosses off his right foot that were headed in the season before last.
