He sets off our attacks eg his pass for the SIXTH goal - SIGN AND PAY THE FUCKING DUDE
Essential he and eriksen are set up - through bonuses etc - so they are properly paid for what they bring to the team.

Just sort them a package that does them justice.

They bring so much to the team and they have been utter pros throughout any negotiations etc

One million pounds a week ? And shall we ignore the knock on effect on Kane, Alli, Son etc etc
I think he deserves just under what Kane is making. He's 29 and Dele is 22 I think dele can understand he will be in line for plenty more raises over time. I also just think Toby is a better player than Dele and Son so it's justified IMO. For me our three best players are Kane, Eriksen and Toby. In that order and they should be paid as such.

Well we fundamentally disagree. Alli for me is easily a the more talented player but that should in no way belittle Toby’s contribution and talent.

How much ? What ever he wants ?

Within reason ofcourse. Now he wont be asking for £1m a week you know that and I know that.

He will be asking for circa £150k i am assuming. He is invaluable to us in my view. Also the professionalism he has shown with his performances this season has been exceptional

Levy agreed at Poch’s pressing to give him what he wanted last season but then he went and wanted even more. Where do you draw the line ? Some of you seem to have no limits to how much you would give him. Not very good business sense and it ignores the knock on impact.

Give him a new contract

The contract needs to be good for Toby & good for Spurs. Imagine paying what he wants for the next 3/4 years and he takes his foot of the gas (so to speak). If he plays at his peak until the summer and leaves for 25m then so be it. Foyth & Sanchez are the future.

Youre right and i iterate again - within reason. Now i understand they moved the goalposts which pissed us off and no doubt would piss me off. Id certainly though re-look at it given his performances and professionalism.

Toby’s injury record is not good. He has had two serious injuries in last 2-3 yrs. even at Soton he was missing quite a few games. Vert has been best defender in last two seasons. If he won’t take up the offer he will have to go for 25mwhich can be put towards another player. Rather keep him but it’s in his hands

We need to do all we can to resolve this situation, he is worth going to the trouble to keep, if it works great, if not at least we did our best.

I think if it were a matter of £150k p/w then a new contract would have been done ages ago.

It's not about ability though. Kane brings in far more money to the club than toby as does dele. Merch sales attracting sponsors, having our games shown on tv etc...
