How can you be loyal if you jump at the first offer that comes along. Gardners been here longer, do you consider him loyal?

He scores on average 13.3 league goals a season. I would be surprised if anybody considered that return legendary.

He was alright, he gone, hopefully we get better.

What I do object to is interviews professing love and crocodile tears. Hleb kissed the badge at Barca in his first photoshoot, watch out Robbie fans.

So you can't be loyal to more than one club? And how is this the first offer thats come along? This is the first summer in a long time that he wasn't linked with another team, until recently. He stayed with us despite being on the bench more times than not, knuckled down and earned his spot.

I totally blame Liverpool for unsettling Keane and blatantly tapping him up. He was happy at that point, but Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and we're not even in the Champions League yet. I cant blame him for wanting to make this move at this stage of his career. The fans see this sort of thing in a totally different light to the players, because we've supported Spurs all our lives and are passionate about the club. Look at it without Spursvision and you'll understand why he wants to move. Its not so much he wants to leave Spurs, but more that he wants to join Liverpool.

As for the real answer to the thread  I'm surprised Robinson is still around. I thought he'd be gone sooner.

Rocha, Lee, Robinson

You can't realy count the players that arn't out in Spain, they are obviously not part of the first team plans. For me the only suprise is that Berbatov hasn't gone earlier.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I think some of the grief you've got the last few days has been a bit harsh... but what I've bolded makes you look a little stupid I'm afraid.

Everton have had at least one bid turned down for Robbie since he was here. So it's not exactly the first offer, is it?

Chimbonda, Robinson, Dawson, Gardner, Rocha, Malbranque, O'Hara, Zokora, Boateng, Lennon, Keane, Bent.

All pretty average and expendable.

Oh come on, I know we're not happy he's leaving us... but he's not average. Shirley!

33 in 81 international games.

16 goals in 03/05.
17 goals in 04/05.
16 goals in 05/06.
22 goals in 06/07.
23 goals in 07.08.

Come on, it's hardly average for a number 10. He's been immense for us. And what's weird about it is that I finally think the fans were beginning to appreciate how important he was to us when he decided to head off.

I'm surprised we haven't shifted any of the deadwood yet. Gardner, Lee, Rocha, Stalteri and Ghaly I would have expected to have left by now. Likewise I'm surprised we haven't found a buyer for Robbo tbh.

Obviously we are close to selling Tainio, Kaboul, Chimbo and Malbranque to Sunderland, but at the end of last season I would have only said Chimbo was certain to go from that lot.

I think everyone knows who we want to get rid of, and they are playing hard ball. Add in that those players are on pretty good wages (the ones that will be taking a step down), it may be a while before we see players leaving.

Also I imagine the team and management especially being in Spain hasnt helped things

Robbo's on a long contract. Contracts work both ways.

There seems to be some hold-up with Lee to PSV. Ditto Gardner to Stoke. Ghaly's crocked.

Levy, Comolli and Alexander are in England, and they do all the wheeling and dealing. Getting new players in is the real priority—and we also have the unwanted and unnecessary distraction of ripping United and Liverpool a new one.

Its too early to answer this because there will be plenty of players sold before the start of the season. Even Ghaly is with us now.

Well done. You've just named half the Carling Cup winning team and labelled them pretty average and expendable. You win the worst observation award 2008. Congratulations :duh:

Now, now. He's been in counselling ever since we gave Defoe the bum's rush. You do have to consider these things.

massive massive talent, well, not so massive any more so he's now even more of a massive talent. Anyway this season i think he will get more games and then the season after that he may well be a permenent fixture as a DM/CM in our incredible midfield with the likes of Bentley,Modric,Dos Santos and Capel. O blimey we may well be hyping ourselves up once again but the thought of the kind of team we will have over the next 2-3 seasons or so is just mouthwatering. A back5 of Gomes,Hutton,King,Woodgate and Bale is just such high quality when all fit couldn't really ask to replace anyof them with any player in the world. Bale and Hutton have so so much potentiol, Kind and Woody are world class when fit no-one really much better and Gomes should be quality.

Unsure about the exact rest of the team, but the likes of an improve Hudd or JJ or Lennon, or the likes of Modric,Dos Santos, Bentley??,Capel??,Ashrivin??, and Benty,Keane,Berby or mabye Villa,Milito,Eto'o O blimey we will have some team!!! Let hope this hype finally comes true as mabye last season our squad was a little over-rated.
