Not at all, but you're advocating playing a completely untested player out of position...pretty funny stuff.

I didn't say now did I what I said was soon meaning in time he doesn't even get on the fucking bench so he won't get near the first team for a while.
My original point of which you said was valid was that the quality of squad player has to be improved which I'm fairly sure we can all agree on.
I also noticed that you have got a bit narked about Davies being criticised which by the way myself personally have never snagged him off, he is a decent enough player by the virtue that he is regularly picked for his national team.
The club is not far off something very positive happening to it soon, but certainly from the recruitment side things need to be improved imo of course.

Quite simply have over performed. We have the smallest squad and youngest squad in the league. We should not be able to compete with Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. 5/6th is our 'par'. I was furious both at the weekend and yesterday as the performances and effort were so poor. But in the cold light of day can put it down to the team being out of form, also with key personnel missing (Lamela, Rose, Vertonghen would all be in Poch's first XI).

I find the notion that our recruitment is dreadful and needs improving a bit laughable considering some of the gems we've picked up for very good prices over the last few seasons.
Until we have the cash to pay our squad players 60-100kpw to sit on the bench most weeks, then it won't improve.
Every club signs players that dont work out, this idea that every transfer that doesn't work out means our recruitment is shit and needs improvement is just daft imo, essentially every transfer is a gamble, some you win, some you lose.

I would bet that a lot of clubs, would love our recruitment record.

Our recruitment isn't dreadful but it does need to improve but I hear what you saying so I will leave it there.(y)

No we haven't. We have been solid for a couple of months. For the most part we have struggled to score, were terrible in the CL, terrible in the league cup and almost lost to Wycombe in the FA Cup. Now a 2nd string, 8th placed side in the Belgian league beat us.

Fulham away will be a hard cup tie and then we have the decision whether to put out a strong side against Gent with the Prem fixture shortly after.

There was a telling quote from Dembele: "Generally I think they wanted it more than us, they were sharper, more motivated than us.”

We had a team packed full of internationals last night, terrible performance!

Yet we're 3rd in the league, still in the FA cup and still in the Europa League with a very young team on a relatively small budget with injuries to key squad members. I think Poch and the team have earned our patience and support over the last few seasons, they have to improve and they know it but they've done a great job up until the last couple of games.

We have no more away matches against the top teams, we have Vertonghen coming back soon, we don't need to act like Arsenal fans and throw our toys out of the pram after a couple of dodgy results.

This is OTT. yes we have been a little sluggish the last few games but we are still 3rd and beat a resistant middlesbrough who have let in very few goals at home this season away.

Once Rose and Verts are back will be back on track.

How do you find the notion that our last summer window was a f crap?

Apart from the Mighty Kenyan, who hopefully will return soon after having the last week off.

I don't care what is it, I'm just so tired that this team is always showing such a poor form at the EL (with the exception of the AVB and Sherwood teams). If Poch can't (or won't) fix this somehow, then we will have to move on from him. But I still have faith in him, so I won't start calling for his head just yet.
