I think Aurier does more good than harm. And if we don't try to soak pressure he is actually a very good player.

And if keeping him costs £8.5m then it would be dumb to sell. You'd never get a better alternative at that price and I'd rather he be backup over Doherty.

I don’t believe he has a release clause. I could be wrong but this is the first time I have heard it mentioned.

He has a year left on his contract. If teams of that quality want him then we might get a reasonable fee for him.

Fuck me this release clause that doesn't exist keeps getting lower and lower.

I've been happy with Aurier for the most part and for me cashing in would depend if we could turn Aurier and Doherty transfer fee's into being able to afford somebody like Aarons.

I'm also hope that Foyth doesn't go Villarreal but it'd be a risk just to back Foyth this summer.

I like Aurier too.

But with a year on his contract unless we get him to sign a one year extension then now is the time to cash in.

Yeah, tbh I heard he wanted to leave a couple of seasons ago so I've been open to him going every year but he's stuck about and always been professional if it is true he wanted to go. Every year I also say let's get Aarons

To be fair to Aurier playing in a team that sets up to defend 80% of a match isnt really gonna help show his best qualities. The opposite in fact. Same as if Walker had to play that way he'd look poop as well.
