I want to say Lloris but I agree with those that say it should be an out field player.
Verts has most of the attributes but can be too moody IMO, which can have a negative effect on his captaincy.
All being present, fit and on their game I would then go for Kaboul followed by Sandro.

The ideal situation would be to have a captain from the Tottenham area (like Andros Townsend, but not him for obvious reasons) so he knows about the culture of the club and country. The second best option is an Englishman, who is more likely than someone from abroad to be more in touch culturally with the style of football played in the club and country. I've got nothing against foreign captains though.

It's hard to explain my reasoning but I hope you can appreciate where I am coming from.
Like Ledley? Meaning someone local coming through the ranks

If Lennon is in Poch's plans I wouldn't be against him getting the armband. After him it has got to be Hugo.

Soldado? Plenty of experience and seems to be at the centre of all the pictures doing the rounds on twitter/instagram - seems to be popular?

If I had to pick based on last season it would be Ade, just for the fact when were getting raped by certain teams he never let his head drop kept giving 100%

Vertonghen lol captain super sulk, spurs fans have the shortest memories in the world.

Lloris.

Keeper captains aren't ideal, but Hugo is head and shoulders above every other player we have. The only guy that can plausibly be given the controversial label of "world class".
I hope you are not suggesting that being a World class player or an exceptional player automatically make you Captain material.

Out of interest, anyone know who captained in the US games? I know a lot of players were missing but it might give some indication - You're gonna tell me it was Brad cos he's American, aren't you
As for Ade, doesn't he captain Togo?

No way should Vertonghen be captain I was him physically give up in games last season. ...not for me.

It may be unpopular to most but I'd give the captaincy the Kyle Walker.

Considering it si not so long ago that we had King, Parker, Gallas and van der Vaart, there are slim picking on offer.

Soldado probably fits the bill best, but needs to concentrate on his own game. Vertonghen would be the least inspiring captain since Steven Carr tripped over his lower lip.

If Dawson and Kaboom aren't starters I guess it has to be Kyle Walker *sigh*

I expect Hugo to be given the armband although I voted for Lewis Holtby as I just love his work ethic. The guy pops up everywhere and is almost always on hand to help out when other players are in trouble. Plus he's extremely vocal with his colleagues and refs alike.

Not sure how well it'd go down if Schneiderlin comes straight in to the side, being relatively young, and gets the armband. I'd personally give it to Lloris. He's likely to play every League game when he's fit, he's the captain of an international side with a lot of big names, and he's our only real world class player at present.

It was Dawson when in, Kaboul when not.

Has to be Jan for me as he was captain at Ajax and has also led his Country on occasion. Do not think it should be Lloris as the keeper is not in the middle of that action where i believe a capt should be.
