I wonder have we had a mini-Covid outbreak or are a few players isolating? Hard to understand otherwise why no Reguilon, Sessegnon, Doherty, Ndombele in the squad given they were at pre-season training from the outset, whereas Son rocked up on Monday and is starting tonight. More understandable obviously that players likely to be sold aren’t featuring; but I wouldn’t have names above in that category.

Do not get too caught up on who is not playing please. From MK Dons away (28th) onwards, will start to integrate more of the expected players. Fitness levels is at different places. No use risking any uncalled for injuries.

That explains Ndombele’s absence then the fitness guys are probably whipping him while he does laps as we speak

Nuno is renowned for being a real fitness nut in preseason, right? Defo more like Poch than Jose in that regard.

As long as Ndombele, Regs etc are involved by the Arsenal/Chelsea games I wouldn't be concerned.
