Not sure which thread is best to ask this, so will put it here...

In terms of wrapping up this season and preparing for next, what are the key dates we're looking at:
  • When is the summer transfer window open?
  • When does the new season kick off?
  • Are our players all on holiday immediately and when they expected to report back for preseason?
The window is 1st of July to 31st of August as usual.

Season starts 6th of August.

The players who don't have June internationals to play presumably go straight on holiday, the international players' final game is June 14th. I don't know the preaeason start date for sure but I expect it's Monday 4th of July.

Summer Transfer Window

The Summer 2022 Transfer Window for Premier League clubs will open on 10 June 2022 and will close at 23:00 BST on 1 September 2022.

This is line with other European leagues.

Transfer of players from another national association may take place once the FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS) is active.

It is a crazy schedule. There are going to be so many injuries next season.

Can anyone help me find a video posted somewhere on the forums in the last few weeks please? Pretty sure it involved Man City and had the Always be together from Grease playing over it. Thanks

I don't believe the posters who say City winning it means nothing.

It will mean something if we finish 2nd to them next season. The oil slavers are a stain on football. We've already finished 2nd behind Chelsea once before and our points total then would've won 8 titles in previous years. It will be sickening if we end up 2nd again. To finish above City you're going to need over 90 points and 100 goals. City and Chelsea have won 11 PL titles between them, stopping properly funded football clubs from winning instead. And now we have Newcastle.

A sad day for football again.

yea nothing annoys me more then people saying city winning means nothing.. it doesnt matter if there sport washing FACT is it counts and will go down in history as a win as much as it does suck.

To be fair it's not like they smashed Villa to win it on the final day. They were 0-2 down then in the span of five minutes they had turned it around. Money or not, comebacks like that do mean something and will live long in the memory far more than if they did what we did v Norwich to seal the league. Everyone remembers Aguero v QPR. It's not just the winning of the league, but how it gets done.

I mean clubs can still sign players outside the window and do business. Just can’t legally start a contract then.

Jack Grealish drunk from yesterday and the key reasons to winning.

Number one: "Take Riyad Mahrez off, he played like Almiron" ?

Number Two: "The main person I want to thank is Bernado Silva for coming off on the 70th minute because he was miles off it"

Silva's response:

"And number three, keep Jack Grealish on the fucking bench" :ROFLMAO:

Klopp winning premier league manager of the season for coming second with a squad that was capable of winning seems an odd choice.
