He dived for a penalty and then dived, feigning injury whilst Utd went on the counter trying to get the play pulled back.
The foot is the goalkeeper's but yeah it that had been Cucurella's the goal might maybe have stood. I understand why that decision took timeLove it, first glance I thought onside due to the random foot in the background but then you think there has to be two players between Martinelli & the goal (plus it’s Arsenal) so clear offside

Thought it was a pretty cut and dry offside tbh. It was obvious from the direction of the ball the Arsenal player got the last touch and Martinelli was clearly offside. There's been plenty of offside decisions given for much tighter calls in much less time with dodgy lines. The decision was ultimately correct which is what's most important IMO rather than the speed of which the decision is reached.
It would annoy me if I was an arsenal fan that theyve let their seats fade so much that theyre now pink. I hope we never allow ours to get like that.
what a weird but wonderful insight sir excellent pointIt would annoy me if I was an arsenal fan that theyve let their seats fade so much that theyre now pink. I hope we never allow ours to get like that.
now that would really annoy meWould be weird if our navy blue seats turn pink
This is why I'm not a fan of proposed time limits for VAR because sometimes you get really weird situations and they need to make sure they don't make an error because they're trying to rush.
But this was a much trickier situation on where to place the line for the 2nd to last opponent. But once it was placed, it's not even one of the ten closest of the season.
I'm a referee. Situations like that are interesting to me. Sorry to distract you from your thread.Bloody hell.
