Quite a few teams this year are gonna be lucky only three teams can get relegated.

This year it is pretty much split between top 6 and the rest. Normally there are three tiers but the rest seem less strong as in previous years.

Perhaps West Ham and Newcastle are the only ones in that middle tier - do Man United count?

I’ll say it how I see it. Maybe it changes offer a week, a month, or a year. His impact is also only what is is because they had Nketiah, Lacazette, and Aubameyang up top last season. Is Auba a better finisher than Jesus? 100% yes. But they finished 8th two seasons in a row with him up top. But for me it isn’t hard to see they’ll play better as a team with a link striker. As terrible a finisher as Lacazette is (just a worse version of Jesus, very similar in style), it was the same with him in terms of the team’s play. Pressing and linking play. It just fits their style. And as I said, maybe they’ll only be marginally better, because Jesus also currently is a poor finisher. If it stays that way not much will change.
You just said his impact for them is "colossal."

OG gets one for CIty. Even though they've checked out, they're still carving Bournemouth open with ease. I can see another 100pt season if they do this against decent teams. Hard to say if this is their new mean; it's only been Wet Spam and Bournemouth, but you'd have to think that Haaland will only get better the more games he plays.

Currently I think it is. Although look how many chances he’s missed today. It’s this part of the game that’ll change my opinion of his level of impact if he keeps missing chances like he’s had today.
You're confusing me. One minute you're saying he only improves them marginally and is a poor finisher, but then say his impact is colossal. What has he done to make you think the latter after playing against two crap teams?

Can see Leicester possibly scrapping for survival, they look absolutely shocking and their new keeper is awful!

Worse than that, I had him starting ahead of Jesus in my fantasy team :banghead:

I think his impact on their team in the first two games has been colossal. The link up, the fluidity on the edge of the box in tight spaces. After 5, 10, 38, 100 games, etc., my opinion might change. I meant it as a short term thing that obviously wasn’t stated clearly enough, so my bad if it was interpreted like that. Colossal in the first 180 mins, but next week his impact might be the opposite because he can’t hit a barn door. I think that makes it clearer (please confirm). I maintain over the long term, he will overall make them better, but that’s obviously TBD.

I take comfort in the fact that it's easy to win the first 3 games in a season.

Beer time.
