This is the issue with playing the three at the back in a Conte formation. He wants a LCB who is a hybrid Centre/Left Back. This is why we I believe Bastoni and Hincapie are the top choices.

He looks like he suits it though. He’s coming out the line and very good on the ball.

I'm just think looking back at Contes teams he likes having a full back type player playing centre back in his back 3. He had Azpilicueta at Chelsea, Bastoni at Inter and now Davies.
