It was there for them and the way I’ve seen that game is that they dropped 2 points after being 2 nil up. Newcastle will give them more of the same and with City going on a run, this could be one of the worse capitulations since Newcastle United in 1995🤞

Arsenal could have scored at the end there. So even though Liverpool missed some big chances, taking the game as a whole a draw is a good result for us.

City win all their games they win the title. Unless they win them all like 1-0

Liverpool proving that you need to fight fire with fire against Arsenal/City if you plan to beat them or atleast put up a fight.

Glad the race is in City’s hands now, but I always had a feeling arsenal would drop points at this point of the season and I think they may drop more before that game away to City.

Got to admit that was up there with one of the most entertaining games so far this season. I haven’t been at the edge of my seat watching us play this season. Hopefully we can have these moments from next season!

Thank fuck for that, hopefully the turning point after being 2-0 up they’d have thought the title was practically theirs.
Now every single game will be crucial.

Did a bet builder.

Liverpool to win
Salah 2 or more shots on target
Xhaka to commit a foul
Over 3.5 goals
Both teams to score

Nearly. :banghead:

Wonder if carragher will say salah should be embarrassed for throwing himself flat on hi back in the last minute to try and get a penalty, I don’t think so somehow!

The scum always started the game full of energy to demoralise the opponent hpoefuly by scoring first. They still lack the composure to last the game if their opponents willing to NOT sit back and keep attacking them.

Can only pin hope on barcodes taking another 2 points off at least and Citeh winning the crucial game. That's really my only wish for this season. How pathetic I am.

Fuck Arsenal, they don't have any bearing on my satisfaction.

Having said that, I hope they win it. Not only because they'll deserve it and it disrupts the sportswashers, but because it rams home what happens when you show faith in your project and manager, and back it. I hope Levy looks down that road and realises where he went wrong.

I would rather they didnt win it but I dont care if they do - I do agree in a weird way though that if they do win it - it does show what can be achieved. Those saying 'theyre lucky' I hope theyre not Levy because theyre missng the entire point - this isnt fucking luck, this is planning, this is investment, this is coaching, this is playing the game, this is gutsy and going out to try to win.

Luck? No - otherwise there is no point in fucking coaching, investment... you dont go out on the pitch and just hope - unlike us yesterday

They may still not win the league but really doesnt mean theyre no good.
