The scum always started the game full of energy to demoralise the opponent hpoefuly by scoring first. They still lack the composure to last the game if their opponents willing to NOT sit back and keep attacking them.

Can only pin hope on barcodes taking another 2 points off at least and Citeh winning the crucial game. That's really my only wish for this season. How pathetic I am.
We are all in the same boat.

29 April: Chelsea (H)
7 May: Newcastle (A)
14 May: Brighton (H)
20 May: Nottingham Forest (A)
28 May: Wolve

Man City Prem run-in

15 April: Leicester (H)
26 April: Arsenal (H)
30 April: Fulham (A)
3 May: West Ham (H)
7 May: Leeds (H)
14 May: Everton (A)
20 May: Chelsea (H)
28 May: Brentford (A)
TBC: Brighton (A)

The most obvious two for potential dropped points for the scum is Newcastle and City away. Also City could close the gap to 3 points by the time the scum go to West Ham and they’re fighting for their lives down there….

It’s in City’s hands. Win all their games and they are Champions. Here’s hoping!!

I actually didn't know this was the scenario going into the game, massive for City, Arsenal just needed to drop points really.

Still a lot of football but for the first time for quite a while I can really see Arsenal not winning it now. Of course it's a massive game at City but as the team that is being chased and has been on top for so long, it's massive pressure on Arsenal now as that little bit of insurance is most likely gone. City will just keep going as they have been but Arsenal will now mentally have to adapt to a slightly different situation

The opponents the scum will be facing are trickier than we we think - most of them have something to play for. They could well dropped some more points along the way. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You are missing Brighton v. Man City.

City have a game in hand. If they win out - it will be down to goal-differential, and City are ahead there, and would extend with a win against Arsenal.

West Ham can pull the odd rabbit out of the hat every now and then . It won’t be that easy after today and before the City game .

The sad thing is, Bournemouth's relegation rivals are probably saying the same thing about us!

Can see Arsenal winning their next two, and their last two, so it’s that middle block of games where it gets decided.

I think those Leicester comparisons with Arsenal have been correct along, even if I discredited it at the time.

Arsenal are not Leicester in size of club so this isn't a freak season.

Still. There has been a bit of a "perfect storm" for them.

Arteta's team have always started games strongly but then looked to manage it from after the 30th minute.

That's not even a doubt. Arteta and his assistant's have been seen discussing changes and instructing players to alter approach.

The previous 3 seasons, Arsenal couldn't maintain good starts. They'd win 2-0 or 2-1 or fail to hold onto a 1-0 lead.

But this season, because so many teams are in transition or a complete mess, they are able to make those opening 30 mins count.

Thats all they can do, so I'm not looking to take that away from them.

If they win the league, they'll sadly have deserved it.

But still, A LOT of things have fallen in place for this to happen.

A Pochettino Spurs would not have surrendered a loss at home to them.

Liverpool of recent years would have been relentless and won.

Chelsea under Tuchel would have kept them out early doors and then managed the game.

All of these teams are a shadow and Arsenal have used that.

They're a good team but I am interested to see how Arteta fairs when these clubs sort themselves out or get better coaches in.

Even teams like Leeds and Leicester have been ripe for picking off early doors.

Due to City having the better goal difference (and assuming they continue to do so for the remainder of the season) the difference between a draw or a loss for Arsenal isn’t that massive really.

If Arsenal had the better goal difference I’d have been fuming at the end with Liverpool’s misses.

Hoping City absolutely batter Leicester next weekend to put any doubts about goal difference to bed.
