I have no doubt we will be screwed by the early fixture list. Prem will want some big Wembley games to cover on to first up

Well then let's show them who the fuck we are and give whoever it is a game, no fucking about, time to fucking win.

In something like 92 out of the last 24 seasons we've been away on the opening day, with Arsenal being at home.

Would be typical to find that for the first time since the old king died we're at home this year on the opening day, in the one season when even our home games are being played away from home.

That made me laugh more than it should have done!

I fully expect a tricky looking, no win situation, away game up first i.e. Newcastle. And then Liverpool at home.

West Ham away 2nd game would be decent .as they can't play at home till mid sept .so would be another home game .

WHAM away went well in Poch's debut game. A repeat to get it out of the way early would be nice. Sick of having their cup final turn up in the middle of a title challenge run in.

Wembley hosts the Challenge Cup final on Saturday 26th August, so I guess it would make sense for us to be away that weekend. Assuming we alternate between home and away, that suggests to me we'll start away from home:

12th Aug - away
19th Aug - home
26th Aug - away

Lads. No one is trying to screw us.
Having a bit of a dry spell then fella? It'll happen, just keep putting yourself out there (y)

My daughter's christening is on hold until tomorrow now as I just know it'll clash with a game if I go ahead and book it. My eldest daughter's was on FA Cup Final day so the wife had to miss her team Villa lose to Arsenal. Lucky escape.

Seeing that the NFL is on the 24/09/2017 and the following week of the 01/10/17, we will hardly be at home either of those weekends.

Think we will defo end up with a stock pile of home games at end of season ,which could be useful .Or possibly not if the plethora of Away fixtures has screwed us .

Saying that if Wembley is in use on Saturday ,could possibly use it Monday night game .Pitch is capable of staging 2 games in a day no problem .Guess would just be other logistics .Although Wembley is used to it with play off games .
