It was only a minor problem, he's said himself, as have Ramos and Gus, that he will almost certainly be back for Thursday.

They scored just three goals in their CL group. Liverpool beat them 3-0 in Eindhoven last year. Arsenal, frankly, shot themselves in the foot against them; Wenger came in for a lot of stick on Arsenal-Mania for his tactics.

Obviously not to be underestimated, let alone taken lightly, but from what I've seen of them on Setanta this season their main strength is in their defence; they're not as good going forward as Ajax and Heerenveen. We will have to be at our best, and a two-goal lead and a clean sheet are pretty necessary, but I'm confident we can do it.

The away goals rule worries me in this tie.

I just can't see us keeping a clean shhet in the home leg, if this is the case we need to geat at leat 3 at home as 2-1 won't be a good lead to take there.

I admit to being a bit concerned about this tie.

Both of the results this weekend mean very little in terms of Thursday night. Our players keep talking now about winning the UEFA cup and i reckon a 2-0 or a 3-1 at WHL will see us go through. I cant see Koevermans causing Ledders and Woody much trouble, the real danger is Farfan

Ledders almost certainly won't be playing on Thurs - ever since the draw was made this has looked a tough tough tie - I hope Daws and Gilberto are fit for Thurs we may well need them - it wouldn't surprise me if we kept a clean sheet
