Relegation although highly unlikely is entirely possible.

It's arrogant to say otherwise.

We are 275/1 to be relegated

We are 9/1 to finish in the bottom half

Just saying
Some strange odds there. Not sure how we can be 275/1 at the same time as they have Man Utd at 150/1, Everton at 25/1, Burnley at 6/1 and West Ham at 4/1. Hasn't anyone done any research?

Surely it should be "race against the drop" o_O

As if it's a race for it, it's not something I'm particularly interested in winning...

This will thread will go over people’s head, when the reality is we ARE in relegation form, both in 2019 & this current season.

We are closer to the bottom then we are to the top 4, if that doesn’t hit home I don’t know what will.

We could be 19th with two games to go, and folk on here would still sneer that we're too good to go down.

There are Leeds fans still doing the same, 15 years on.

I think we should have enough quality in the squad to sneak 40 points
Do you remember when people used to do those annoying league tables if they were based on the calendar year, where we would come top

January 2019
1 Jan Cardiff A - Win
13 Jan Man Utd H - Loss
20 Jan Fulham A - Win
30 Jan Watford H - Win

February 2019
2 Feb Newcastle H - Win
10 Feb Leicester H - Win
22 Feb Burnley A - Loss
29 Feb Chelsea A - Loss

March 2019
2 Mar Arsenal H - Draw
9 Mar Southampton A - Loss
31 Mar Liverpool A - Loss

April 2019
3 Apr Crystal Palace H - Win
13 Apr Huddersfield A - Win
20 Apr A.F.C. Man City A - Loss
23 Apr Brighton H - Win
27 Apr West Ham H - Loss

May 2019
4 May Bournemouth A - Loss
12 May Everton H - Draw

26 Points

August 2020
10 Aug Villa H- Win
17 Aug Man City A - Draw
25 Aug Newcastle H - Loss

September 2019
1 Sep Arsenal H - Draw
14 Sep Palace A - Win
21 Sep Leicester A - Loss
28 Sep Southampton H - Win

October 2019
5 Oct Brighton A - Loss
19 Oct Watford H - Draw
27 Oct Liverpool A - Loss

November 2019
3 Sep Everton A - Draw
9 Sep Sheff Utd H - Draw

14 points

Total so far 2019 - 40points

I know you meant it as a joke but from the 30 league games so far this season, we have got 40 points, so we have the quality to avoid the drop. If we carry this form on to next season we should look at around a 51 point finish.

Which btw would have us around 11th place

Jesus christ. I know things are bad at the moment but come on. You've assumed basically the absolute worst case scenario plays out for the entire rest of the season, which is obviously fairly unlikely to happen. If just a handful of the results you've predicted actually go our way after all then we'd be safe.

In other words, it's not impossible that we get relegated, but the chances of it are extremely slim and it's far too early to be panicking yet.

It would be the most spursy thing ever possible in history to build a £1bil new stadium, reach a CL final and then get relegated.

Ah, talk of relegation.

Part of me takes great comfort in being mid table and shite - all this challenging for the league and reaching european cup finals is overrated.

We're all here for the suffering aren't we really, that's what you sign up for as a Spurs fan the highs and then the very real lingering lows haha. We are not above relegation as a club but if we lose to west ham next game then we should start to worry and Levy might surely have to take action on Poch.

We are absolutely losing to West Ham next week, because they've also been on a horrible run of form

I think we could easily beat them to be honest, yes they'll be up for it but Sheff.Utd are a far better and in form team than them.
Its all a bit doom and gloom at the moment but we aren't a pile of shit losing every game we play we just aren't clicking and picking up wins, its quite mid table right now, sure if we DO lose to West Ham then we are heading towards relegation zone and form but right now its more mid table and a win can shoot you back up a good few places.
