I'm on about you dismissing Kane as a player with fight not about the thought os us being relegated which is pretty mental in itself.
Kane was injured much of last season yet insisted on playing through it. It wasn't very inspiring, but fair enough - he's earned it.
This season he has been fit but there is no spark. He doesn't press. He is dominated in the air. He doesn't shoot from range. He doesn't look very happy.
You might argue that he is not getting the creative supply he used to, now Eriksen has lost interest. Well that situation is unlikely to improve.
I focus on Kane as he/his lack of goals is largely the reason we are lower midtable instead of top 4. He was at the very core of our success. And now I've lost confidence in him.
It is all quite straight forward and logical, Nothing 'mentally ill'

As for relegation, I clearly stated I thought we'd stay up. And I gave the main reason why - Son.
But I don't agree that posters are 'mentally ill' to think there is a real chance we might go down with this form. The table is not misleading and we haven't been particularly unlucky. Keep this up and we'll be in the relegation mix at the end of the season.

So I put it to you that your diagnosis of me being 'mentally ill' based on that post is unsound.
I suggest it was just randomly abusive and worse, politically incorrect with no redeeming features.
But you carry on defending it.

Club and country captain has no fight in him...hmm okay. You might argue that he doesn't run or press as much but that has nothing to do with his mentality, if anything he's more likely to drag us out the mire.

I didn't say you said we were getting relegated was mental it was the mere thought of it expressed by some, pretty obvious we won't go down this season as I expect Levy to sack Poch if our form carries on...people are just using this thread to wallow in self pity and display their loser mentality.

And you really thought I said mentally ill and had a little hissy fit over it, talk about seeing what you wanna see - read it again :LOL:

This is not a joke and i am not trying to be funny but i think it now needs to be taken very seriously. As people have mentioned in other threads, our form in 2019 is worrying, 25 points out of a possible 75 is something we can't ignore.

Anyway, the magic mark to avoid the drop is usually 40 points. We currently sit on 14 points. So we need to get a further 26 points from the next 26 games (possible 78 points).

Here are the remaining fixtures and my prediction based on our recent form:

Sat 23 Nov West Ham United A - Loss
Sat 30 Nov A.F.C. Bournemouth H - Draw

December 2019

Tue 3 Dec Manchester United A - Loss
Sat 7 Dec Burnley H - Draw
Sat 14 Dec Wolverhampton Wanderers A - Loss
Sat 21 Dec Chelsea H - Loss
Thu 26 Dec Brighton and Hove Albion H - Win

Sat 28 Dec Norwich City A -Loss

January 2020
Wed 1 Jan Southampton A - Draw
Sat 11 Jan Liverpool H - Loss
Sat 18 Jan Watford A - draw
Wed 22 Jan Norwich City H - win

February 2020
Sat 1 Feb Manchester City H - loss
Sat 8 Feb Aston Villa A - matches to be played 8 or 15 February - draw
Sat 22 Feb Chelsea A - loss
Sat 29 Feb Wolverhampton Wanderers H - draw

March 2020

Sat 7 Mar Burnley A - loss
Sat 14 Mar Manchester United H - draw
Sat 21 Mar West Ham United H - draw

April 2020
Sat 4 Apr Sheffield United A - loss
Sat 11 Apr Everton H - win
Sat 18 Apr A.F.C. Bournemouth A - draw
Sat 25 Apr Arsenal H - win

May 2020
Sat 2 May Newcastle United A - draw
Sat 9 May Leicester City H - draw
Sun 17 May Crystal Palace A - loss

Based on the above 26 games - i see us winning 4 games, drawing 11 and losing 11. Thats 23 points which takes us to 37 points in total. I'm not sure 37 will be enough. In the past when we have been close to getting relegated, we have brought back former strikers half way through the season to help us avoid the drop, not sure who that could be this time around.
Now be honest - have you got a side bet with someone that you could get the full deck of ratings?

It won't get that far. If we are looking in danger, Levy will pull the trigger, regardless of the £32m payout to Poch. A new manager would probably do enough to get us out of the shite. Sad days though.
This.

I must admit, I keep a sneaky look at the teams below us and their results.
Over the last five years it’s been the few teams above us.☹️

The good thing about posts like these is that you can bring them up in a few months and genuinely lol at them

Who misses the days of the 40 point celebration? Love a bit of nostalgia every now and then......

Seriously, I've never been so happy to have inernational breaks, I say we have more of them.

So if we beat West Ham coupled with the predictions that'll total up to the magic 40. So good chance the party atmosphere can return if we can get past the hammers!

So a huge sigh of relief and congratulations are in order to the club, Mr Levy and Mr Mourinho.

Prior to today's game, the prediction was we would lose today and finish on 37 points. This win now means we should achieve the magic 40 points.

I will be going to the Olympiakos game on Midweek and will be heading to a Turkish kebab shop on the High Road to celebrate. Please feel free to join.
