Tomorrow is massive now. Especially as Liverpool have to go to city in a week. We could be right in this.

Today is a perfect example of why we have to stay up there and be, one of poch’s favourite words, consistent with winning games.

It’s going to be hard as the squad is stretched to the limit, but we’ve just got to keep trying to grind out results.

After 18 games Arsenals best ever side their much vaunted rose-tinted invincibles that they conveniently forget lost to Man Utd, Middlesborough, Dynamo Kiev, and Internazionale... Pterborough too if you count pre-season :D Anyway they had 42 points.

If we win tomorrow we'll have 42 points after the same number of games...
Since only 5 clubs have scored higher points total at that point of the season (albeit multiple times) this should end up a really great season when we look back, and a great squad.

I hope today's results has slightly changed pochs team talk for tomorrow, telling the lads we can really build a gap between the two below and close in on the top two.

You know what, a comet might as well strike the planet in may

We get to see thrones concluded, avengers and we won't have to put up with the utter trans dimensional nightmare of Liverpool winning the league

Chip, chip, chipping away at the gap, be consistent do our job and we are in grabbing distance of City and spitting distance of Liverpool when the two of them meet in the new year after which we could be ahead of City or within grabbing distance of Liverpool too, from then on we have half a season to go and then in that position nobody can say we won't win the league, it's all down to us.
Listening to the radio one enlightened commentator said "and Chelsea's chances of making it a three horse race for the title may have gone now" or very similar words to that effect! You do sometimes have to wonder if we actually are invisible.:)

Massive game tomorrow for us after today results...
how we are 3rd and so close given all the drama around our club and lack of signings is huge but COYS, don't go Spursy on us and get 3 pts tomorrow, it be huge in race for top 4 but also put us right up there with chance

im starting to get nervous about tomorrow. We really really need a win.

I wouldn’t take a draw now if you offered it but I’ll be more or less happy with a point at Goodison (assuming we don’t throw away a 3 goal lead or something stupid)

Every game is massive if we want to win the league. The City defeat is fantastic for us because they still have to play us and Pool and and Pool need to play us. Win them and Pool drop points against City and we’re almost there.

If we win tomorrow it will leave the Top 4 looking like this

  1. Liverpool 48
  2. Man City 44
  3. Spurs 42
  4. Chelsea 37
Arsenal are level on points with Chelsea but worse on GD.

To be just two behind Man City who are supposedly the greatest team the Premier League has ever seen is a huge psychological boost. We have to be included in the conversation of a title race if we're closer to them than they are to Liverpool.

Another one of those days where the effects of conceding a stupid early goal against City, and a sloppy ten minutes against Watford start to hit home.

Without those two minor lapses in concentration, we’d now be 2nd, and five points off the top with a game in hand.

Getting three points tomorrow is absolutely crucial now.

As per the start of your post, it's crucial every game.
