WOW! Didn't even sound like Harry wanted to come to us. Until yesterday morning he was perfectly happy at Pompey, but they wanted the money, and accepted Levy's cash! Un-be-lieve-able!! Eek

It's his last job before Retirement. Is he hungry? Ofcourse not!

We NEEDED a young thrusting manager, we needed Roy Keane.

We flashed the cash again......and probably got the wrong Manager....AGAIN!

copy of what I posted on the front page

I really don't know what to say :-| I thought Ramos deserved more time, that the club were all about continuity  It has to be said that if Jol was sacked, and I agreed he had to go because he had lost the dressing room and the powers that be deigned that Ramos was the man to bring us on, then how does the amount of time he's had give any confidence to anyone about our club ?

Was it Ramos fault we sold our souls in the last window ?

That said I will give my full backing to the new manager, he's done wonders at Pompey so hopefully he will do it for us, just hope he can do it without any strikers.

This is SUCH an admission of incompitence it's unbelieveable, that said if Levy truley feels that nothing can be done to salvage the club then it's best to act now rather than later I do admit.

Have to say that I feel for Pompey fans, and Ramos, Gus and Alvarez.

Welsome twitchy face to the lane and may God rest your soul

He also said that Levy had spoken to Peter Storey for permission to speak to Harry.

I think the timing was to beat the papers. Let them get their headlines ready for Sunday, and then drop the bombshell. Let's face it, if we lose tomorrow, it'll still be a footnote to the main event which is Ramos' firing.

Anyway, I'm glad Ramos is gone. I'm sad that Gus has gone. I had a lot of time for Gus. I'm ambivalent towards Alvarez because I was never clear on what he did.

Comolli can suck the sweat off a dead man's balls as far as I'm concerned.

I. SIMPLY. CANNOT. BELIEVE THIS!!!
Its ridiculous. Levy has NO patience! Now we will lose our players and dignity. We are fucked untill Levy sells the club. This man can NOT be trusted with an important, once great football club.

I feel sorry for Gus. Didn't he turn down Newcastle a few weeks ago in order to stay with us?

Mate, there's absolutely no loyalty in football, mind you just think of the money they are all going to walk away with, it's not like your average worker being sacked in the current CC who will lose their homes, these guys will get compensation packages that will dwarf what most peeps could earn in their lifetimes

Say what you want about Levy but the man knows how to take action. No use pointing fingers, fuck the lot of them out the door. Bang. Gone. Fuck 'em.

And if we get Harry Redknapp in without a Director of Football I think it's a fucking fantastic, gutsy move. He has swallowed the £15 mil he's gotta pay ramos and he has effectively admitted making a mistake in bringing him in and is doing something about it.

Fair play Levy my son, if this gets us out of the fucking mess we're in then I fucking salute you big man.

The one thing that I'm really happy with is that we actually have a manager to take over immediately, so we don't start fucking round with Interim Managers like Newcastle because nobody's willing to take the job because of the owner situation.

So in that respect getting Harry in now is good - for the club, for the players, for everyone involved. Even the fans who hate him.

Spot on. they will all be well provided for, no need to worry on that score.

Must be killing Levy a year after the compo for Jol, Hughton and Seville he has to lay it out again all over again for Comolli, Gus and Ramos' team PLUS the £5m to Pompey
