If we've cleared them all out and announced we're talking to Redknapp i'd be surprised if it wasn't already a done deal.

Levy's slippery like that. He's probably been negotiating for days, trying to read 'arry's every twitch. Then he's got shot once the deal was agreed and this is all now cosmetic. I bet it was like Del Boy versus Arthur Daley in there........

So how do you think this all came about? Reckon Levy just decided that, f*ck it, he's in charge and this can't go on, fired the lot of them?

Players concerns got to him? Financial worries? Joe Lewis worries? Anyone got an ear to the ground want to fill us in?

can see levy is clearing out the dross, but who will clear out levy, one muppet still left at the club me thinks.

and please not Redknapp, reckon he will take the job though, bring diarra and defoe then with him at least.

I reckon they would both come as well

I was thinking the same thing, must be a done deal for him to sack them wholesale like that.

This is crazy - Redknapp should be a safe pair of hands, but I'm guessing we'll be giving him a Ramos-size contract, which is something of a joke. Levy really is a slippery one isn't he?

In my heart of hearts, i have to say i think Redknapp is the wrong choice. Someone's already mentioned the big fish in a small pond scenario and that suits him best. He has previous for getting clubs out of trouble though (Soton aside) so that may be a bonus. I think he'll be overwhelmed by it all. Hope i'm wrong. We had a chance to go for someone massive, we have the money, someon elike Hiddink or a hard **** like Keane.

Hope i'm wrong. Just don't feel great about it. Although bringing Diara with him may help me a bit.

I agree A&C, we wouldn't start giving Harry the eye if we didnt already know he wanted to jump into bed with us.

Lets just hope this time it works out.

Never a dull moment... well to be honest i'd personally be happy to see Rednapp get the chance. I think he is a good manager with loads of premiership experience and i also think he is the sort of guy the players will respond to. Might not be the long term answer, but we are in big trouble and i think he would be a good choice.
