If we sell Kane for £80 million and buy Muani for £100 million that's a net spend of only £20 million, right?

Lol I just don’t see it happening for £100m. He’s only been at Frankfurt for a year as well so they’re in no rush to sell.

I don’t know why I keep reading that we’re gonna replace Kane with a top class CF and top class winger. Delusion of the highest order 😂

Throughout the summer we've been linked with similar profiles of players. Vicario and Raya were similar, VDV, Tapsoba and Tosin are kinda similar, but Muani and Vlahović just couldn't be more different.

Muani is a skilfull player, who can create space by runs, carries, dribbles. His ceiling is very high.

Vlahović is (I'm maybe a bit exaggerating) a one-dimensional tap-in merchant. I think this is basically what you can get from him.

Would much rather overpay for Muani than underpay for Vlahović.

yup, he's super direct, fast and strong. absolutely ideal for a direct attacking unit. would be a great signing for whoever.

Absolutely right. Some people on here are totally delusional.

I’ll just keep pressing F5 on the Mbappe one.

And young. He could be our next Kane. Yes we will lose a superstar, but we’d be gaining a future one.

I would be very happy to see Muani in a Spurs shirt - he looks ideally built for the premier league. It's a pity that for us to get him also implies that Kane is gone, but hey ho if we are to rebuild then Muani is the right profile

Maybe exaggerating? LOL. More like completely downplaying him.

Levy will be feeling the heat if/when Kane goes. He got absolute pelters last season and I'm sure that's fresh in his mind.

More likely to sell Kane for 80 and buy someone for 60 and make 20 net profit than spend. not in a negative Levy bashing but in line with our model. Also the need to buy a top CB or two is greater than replacing Kane so i dont see us spending huge on the striker (by huge i mean more than 60m - which very much is huge in real life)

Maybe. Personally I think we’ll be fine with Richy as a striker in Ange’s system - he’s definitely not a winger in an Ange team and it will be odd to then block his path with a £100m signing.

I would rather we spent the money on a right winger who is flexible enough to play striker when required as back up to Richy.

IF we are to lose Kane and want a striker to replace him (rather than playing Son central and buying another wide player) then Muani is probably the best fit for Ange's system.

Rapid, athletic, good in the air, can run the channels, press and can beat players too. He also creates goals as well as scoring them, in fact he can be a bit too unselfish for a striker.

If we could get him, which I personally doubt due to competition for him, my biggest concern would be the huge fee we'd need to spend. We'd be looking at €80-100m euros and it would be a massive risk for that money.

He'd be a much better bet than Vlahovic or playing Richarlison striker though.

Top class striker, but have in mind Frankfurt looking for top money as well. They talk about 100m Euros, I am sure we can deal for less, but personally can not see we spend 70-80 m on him.

Apparantly United is interested in him if they fail to get Hojlund.
I’m not sure they will deal for much less tbh, BM, PSG and Utd were or are interested and they don’t particularly want to sell. Personally I think Vlahovic will be the easier option.

Agree I don't see us spending more on kanes replacement than we bring in for Harry.
