can anyone explain why we took 1.82 points per game with sandro in the side and 2 points per game without him?

my answer is kaboul anyway, he's simply being overlooked because he's been injured all season, perhaps when he comes back he won't be the same but the kaboul of 11/12 is certainly one of our best/most important players.

Because Bale kept on dragging our arses through games that we were largely shit in. We lost a lot of our dominance in midfield when Sandro was injured, but we kept on getting the results because Bale turned into a god like player.

Yep. Plus AVB had only just started working with our players, several of which had only just been signed. There was always going to be a bedding in period. However Sandro and Dembele's partnership was fantastic right from the start.

I know Dempsey's not everyone's cup of tea but as the team's 3rd highest scoring player this season, shouldn't he at least be on the shortlist? He did come up with a few key goals against the Manchester clubs too...

players like ade, dempsey, defoe etc are solid players and important to our squad but really do you think they are going to be voted over sandro and dembele? i personally don't think so and that's why i didn't bother to include them yet. i will add them for the next poll though since they've been mentioned.

Difference with Adebayor over Defoe and Dempsey is that we know he has "another level" which takes him towards the top of this list. It's just unfortunate we haven't seen this much this season.
