Kane and Sanchez were actually good.

Danjuma did nothing wrong.

Everyone else = complete shit.

Utter embarrassment overall.

Normally I'd say none deserved but I'm giving it to Dave. He was quietly our best player in the second half.

The formation and system should not be changed in such a tough game, and Sanchez should have started for all kinds of reasons. The result may be an outlier, but for me the starting XI showed that there is actually no one at the helm of this football team.

Shout out to Sanchez. I know he didn't enter in the heat of the battle or anything, but takes some character to put in a strong performance like that after what he went through last week. Good for him.

Kane/Danjuma did alright (honestly this should be our attack with how poor the other options have been for months). Danjuma and Kane would be pretty similar to the Moreno/Danjuma partnership that was devastating singlehandedly at Villarreal.

The rest were shocking. Not just in performance levels, but in character, intensity, desire.

Dier was brilliant. Nothing got by him 10

Romero. Disciplined display and never got turned 10

Lloris fantastic display. Repelled attack after attack 10

Porro showed his defensive class and kept his man quiet all game 10

Perisic defies his age with a great game dominating the left flank 10

Hojbjerg continually looks to break forward and break the lines with incisive passes. Never a sideways pass 10

Kulu has his man on toast all game 10

Son demonstrated his all round game pinging the ball from side to side and causing the Newcastle defence pain throughout the game.

Stellini orchestrated a masterclass in total football today. All decisions and tactics were spot on today. Should be rewarded with a contract into the new season.

Really enjoyed the game. Most entertaining team in the league.

6 cup finals remaining.

My friends who went left at 4-0 to catch the next train. That’s like…18mins of football.
