Gomes 6 - Redeemed himself after a very poor 1st half
BAE 6 - As above
Gallas 8 - A real captain's performance, right from that first challenge on Nasri
Kaboul 8 - Strong throughout,especially when attacking, and that goal is long deserved
Hutton 6 - Still very weak in defending, particularly when giving the ball away in deep positions
Lennon 4 - Virtually anonymous
Jenas 6 - Upped his game in the 2nd half
Modric 5 - A weak performance, although a little better 2nd half
Bale 8 - He is a god
VDV 8 - He is the son of a god
Pav 6 - Little service but put in a shift

Defoe 6 - His pace made a big difference as we could then rely on a long ball causing a problem

Crouch 5 - Made no impression

Palacios - Too little time to rate

Mug of the Match - Fabregas Thanks for that imbecilic handball for our pen
Man of the Match - Gallas Did everything that could have been asked of him

Gallas 10 - amazing all i can say was well up for it hes now accepted

Bale 9 - Outstanding unreal at times

Gomes 6 - Hesitant in first but top save in the second
BAE 6 - Was a little asleep for the first goal, gave it away but got better
Gallas 9 - Brilliant even when we were shocking in the first MOTM
Kaboul 8 - Started a little nervously but once settled was excellent, except the one moment when Arsenal scored. Redeemed himself with the winner. :grin:
Hutton 6 - Struggled at times especially in the first but was still running at the end.
Lennon 4 - Couldn't get in the game at all one moment where he skinned Clichy but the cross was poor
Jenas 7 - Completely anonymous first half, excellent second half (the one that counts! :wink
Modric 5 - Poor today, but I don't really care we just beat Arsenal!
Bale 8 - Runs and runs and runs and scores!
VDV 7.5 - End product is amazing. Love his passion. Love him!
Pav 5 - Better dropping deep in the second but didn't have much influence on the game, but who cares?!!!!

Defoe 7 - Pace caused problems, and in his bouncy boots was winning balls in the air which the Arsenal defence couldn't cope with.

gallas 9- inspirational

kaboul 9 mom- great goal when had 2 markers on him. did well defensively as well

bae 6- basic defending error otherwise did ok

lennon 5- wasnt fit.

modric 7- kept things ticking went close.

jenas 7- solid

bale 8- got forward despite having 3 defenders on top of him. well taken goal

vdv 7- cool penalty. great set piece for kaboul.


pav 6- tried but isolated.



crouch 5- did little.


defoe 6- wasnt fit but his pace and knockdown for bales goal helped

Gomes 6 - Shocking first half, much better in the 2nd and his save from Fabregas was world class
BAE 6 - Truly awful positioning at times, especially in the first half. Much improved second though
Gallas 8.5 - MoM. Gave everything he had in every situation.
Kaboul 8 - Solid and gets another point for the match winning goal
Hutton 5 - Far too easily passed and very questionable positioning in both halves. His defending needs serious improvement.
Lennon 4 - What's happened to this boy?
Jenas 6 - Shocking first half, much better in the second.
Modric 5 - Horrible first half, better in the second but had a lot of misplaced passes today.
Bale 8 - Didn't get any service in the first half but the boy is special, as the coolness of his finish proved.
VDV 7.5 - Not the best game overall but involved in all our goals again.
Pav 5 - Poor game but he did work and try hard.

Defoe 6 - We've missed him immensely. We can now go back to our 4-4-2 formation and play decent football again.

Crouch 6 - Didn't have much time to influence much.

Palacios - Too little time as well.

I really hope we'll revert back to a 4-4-2 with maybe VdV on the right seeing as Lennon is completely out of it. We play so much better in a 4-4-2 than 4-5-1.

Jenas 4??? That man won tackles and cover plenty of grass and is one of the reason we won that game. He is our D midfielder so don't expect him to take the ball and run the length of the entire pitch.
