Lloris - 9 - Outstanding, some great saves.
Walker - 8.5 - Very good in defense, bombed down the flank, very commanding. One or two bad deliveries. Has had two or three excellent games in a row now.
Dawson - 4 - Not terrible overall but horrible mistake almost cost us dearly.
Chiriches - 8.5 - Great in defense and an incredible strike to open the scoring and put us back in the game.
Vertonghen - 6 - Definitely not his natural position and looked frustrated often but decent enough.
Sandro - 6.5 - Pretty good, bit slow in distribution but did well in midfield winning some balls.
Capoue - 5.5 - Looked like he had to readjust to the EPL pace in first start but once he settled he did well. Misplaced some passes but at least he tried to look for a splitting ball.
Lamela - 6.5 - Flashes of brilliance but didn't get involved quite enough for my liking. Very intelligent player, I actually think he'd link up excellently with Kane. Tons of potential though and he'll be a regular starter in the second half of the season.
Paulinho - 5.5 - Looked absolutely knackered at times and I can't fault him on that, he's just being a bit overused in my opinion. Links up better with Soldado. Nonetheless, played pretty solidly and that elastico meg on Riise, wow.
Lennon - 6.5 - Want to see him take on players more often, he should've run riot with his speed vs Riise. Played some good balls in though and was always helpful in the defence. Another solid game.
Defoe - 5.5 - Doesn't offer nearly as much in linkup play as Soldado but his pace was very useful vs Senderos. Played two good balls to create chances. Nonetheless, people clamor for him to come in because of his goalscoring pedigree and he can't finish a 1v1, just like he couldn't finish vs Jaaskelainen. Not a bad performance or anything, just didn't do anything to warrant a start Saturday.

I try...but my stream wasn't too good so could misjudge a few.
Lloris - 9 .... outstanding today, saved the points, what a keeper. A CL keeper
Walker - 8 ... worked his ass off on the right, did some good things going forward with Lennon. Sometimes a bit shaky and misplaced at the back but he was doing well
Dawson - 5.5 ... sorry Daws, its just not enough
Chiriches - 7 ... at the back a few shaky moments. Early foul against Karagounis and one time he failed to clear. But his goal saved us. Congratulations Vlad.
Vertonghen - 6 ... problems against the RW. He is a CB. Hopefully not too injured.
Capoue - 6 ... great potential but today not too good. Needs a bit more time and games
Sandro - 6.5 ... okay, should have scored.
Paulinho - 5.5 ... I fail to see what he does. He is moving very good at times and in the box but his shooting is so bad , so so bad. Needs a break

Lloris - 9/10 - MOTM in my opinion. Made several fantastic saves but looked a bit nervous when it came to corners.
Walker - 8/10 - Defended well, gave Lennon good support.
Dawson - 4/10 - Nothing to say really, poor performance, at fault for the goal.
Vlad - 7/10 - Fantastic goal but the two footer against Berbatov in the box was better. Great performance but he put the team in some dangerous situations.
Vertonghen - 5/10 - Not a left back and it's blindingly obvious in my opinion. Isn't agile enough against quick wingers and doesn't provide enough attacking quality.
Sandro - 6/10 - Solid performance.
Capoue - 5/10 - Nothing to say really. Was decent.
Paulinho - 5/10 - Unlucky not to score, wasted chances.
Lamela - 5/10 - The only thing that is positive about his performance today was that he almost always try to do something with the ball, he doesn't just poke the ball sideways like most of our players.
Lennon - 6/10 - Decent performance.
Defoe - 2/10 - Missed one decent chance and one sitter. Apart from that he was utter useless, I really hope the rumours about him signing for that MLS team is true.

Chadli - 5/10 - Had no impact really.

Defoe alone up front, bad decision for me...smells of AVB trying to appease the fans and pundits...JD I love him but he cannot play alone up front.
Paulinho is actually Jenasinho! In all seriousness, I think he is tried and needs a rest. Still unsure where he should play...his passing is too safe and he isn't quite goalscoring like the "Brazilian Lampard" yet.
2 holding midfielders away to a team in the bottom 3? Not ideal...Dembele was injured though and Capoue and Sandro can play a bit I guess.
Dawson at fault for the goal...really poor...frustrates me to no end that Vertonghen is playing LB, he is one of the best CB around. Why not play Naughton or Fryers there? Why did Benny go on loan?

I expect us to have gelled more and be playing more fluidly but December is a results month and if we play this average and pick up maximum points it'll do for me right now.
