The sooner we rid of Chadli and Lamela the better. Both are awful players and offer nothing.

Shit Spurs, we're not gonna do much this season.

Lloris 7
Walker 5
Vertonghen 5
Alderweireld 6
Davies 3
Dier 5
Mason 6
Dembele 7
Chadli 5
Lamela 5
Kane 6

Why does Walker have one moment every game where he forgets to control the ball and it goes out for a throw in? He's literally done that once every game so far this season. Davies terrible, Dier not a midfielder, Chadli wasteful

Lloris - 7 - Actually had little to do bar one point blank header, not at fault for the goal
Walker - 6 - So, so. Showed some desire to get forward though produced little
Verts - 6 - generally solid though at fault fore the goal - should have cleaned out Mahrez before he got in the box and taken the yellow
Toby - 7 - Didn't do much wrong
Davies - 5 - Rose is better
Dembele 7.5 - best player first half, showed a lot of intent and looked the man most likely - faded 2nd falf.
Dier 6 - Doesn't do a hell of lot wrong in midfield but doesn't give much extra
Mason - 7 - Had a pretty good game all round
Lamela - 9 - Absolutely stunning, constant threat with his pace and that magical left foot of his... Oh, no, Sorry, that's Mahrez, the little Algerian fella Leicester bought for peanuts, but as for our £30 million Argentinian... 3 I'm afraid, offered nothing at all, all I remember him doing is doing his giving the ball away which Dier had to a take yellow for.
Chadli, 6, flitted in and out as ever, good ball for Alli's goal but should have pulled it back earlier and shot instead.
Kane, 6, fed of scraps
Alli - 6, got is goal and showed promise
Carrol 5, don't think he's good enough personally. Probably end up a Championship player.

Lloris - 6 Didn't have a lot to do, made one good save he knew nothing about save and had no chance with the goal.
Walker - 7 Not a lot of threat down Leicester's left, Albrighton unsighted.
Alderweireld - 7 Solid
Vertonghen - 6. Mixed bag: some nice stops but some really nervy moments early
Davies - 4. Hands full with Mahrez, Not much attacking threat. Hopefully Rose back next week.
Dier - 6. Better composure this week, tidy on the ball
Mason - 6 Typically energetic, occassional sloppy pass but not bad.
Dembele - 7. Our most threatening attacking player. Impossible to get the ball off.
Lamela - 6. Terrible pass aside he was alright. Some really nice corners
Chadli - 6. Looked threatening at times, non-existent at others
Kane - 7. Tried hard all day for the team. Fantastic turn that led to the Alli goal.

Alli - 7. Unsighted really until he scored. But he scored
Carroll - Not enough time on the pitch to rate
Bentaleb - Same as Carroll.

Lloris- 7 - Standard consistent self
Walker- 6- He was poor, though no complete brain farts and decent ball into the box.
Vertonghen- 5 - He looks like a Rolls-Royce one game and a Ford KA the next.
Alderweireld- 6 - Nervy, the worst performance in his 3 games.
Davies- 4.5 - Rose please.
Dier- 5 - I feel sorry for the lad really, obviously struggles with the game at CM.
Mason- 6 - Did ok, not too sure why I keep seeing him drifting wide left these past few weeks, weird.
Chadli- 5 - Tried, failed.
Lamela- 5 - Tried, failed.
Dembele- 7.5 - Kept the ball, created some space in the final third and tested the GK a couple of times, my MOTM.
Kane - 5.5 - hmmmmmmm.

Alli- 7.5 -Great energy to get the goal, he must start.
Bentaleb - NET
Carroll - 5.5

Lloris: What little he had to do, he did well. A couple of seemingly eccentric moments coming off his line but I never worry in that situation, he gets it right 99/100 times.

Walker: Really good performance in my opinion. Can't remember him being beaten and looked good going forward with one superb pass to Chadli and also the best cross of the match.

Alderweireld: Played well and never seemed particularly troubled. Some nice balls forward to switch play too.

Vertonghen: I think he should have been tighter to Mahrez for the equaliser, while throughout the match he always seemed likely to err in some way. Doesn't instil confidence at the moment.

Davies: An okay game, remembering that he had no protection at all form Chadli and was up against a brilliant and on form winger in Mahrez. Tried to support the attack but he just doesn't seem able to bomb up.

Mason: Industrious to the end and a few decent passes. Took responsibility and put his foot on the ball regularly but apart from a few moments he didn't really affect the game.

Dier: Not a midfielder. Some good play defensively, and liked that he took a booking without hesitation when Vardy was on the run, but when on the ball he's never going to do anything with it. Not his fault of course, he is a very good centre back and should be used as such.

Dembele: I feel he was our best player. He took hold of the ball and frightened the hell out of them with his running, kept a hold of it while others pushed up, constantly fought for it and showed strength and never hid. Had two cracking shots as well.

Lamela: Who here, being honest, can say that they still have hope for this guy? Not me. I've tried, I've made every excuse for him possible. Again today he did nothing of any use. Weak, slow to react to anything and to boot his hair is fucking stupid. Alli was more purposeful in his cameo than Lamela the entire previous 65 minutes. Honest to god, if today I'd watched my first ever game of football, I'd have thought Albrighton was the £30m player, not Lamela (if it had to be one of them that is)

Chadli: The records will show that he got an assist today. It was a good cross and for that it should be commended. Sadly, every other time he had the ball he decided to shoot from stupid angles and ridiculous distances. He also exposed Davies for 90 minutes when his flank contained their most dangerous player (and when I watch the highlights I won't be shocked if Chadli was just stood watching as Mahrez strolled into our box. Selfish and lazy today. Such a shame, because he's a magnificent physical specimen and a truly gifted player, but I lost count of the amount of times I swore at him today.

Kane: I could have sworn at him loads as well today had he not generated the amount of goodwill he already has. Not for the same reasons as Chadli though, more because he needs to be more aware. I don't think he's selfish, I think he's just frustrated at how little is being created for him so is trying to do too much every time he sees the ball. To be fair, he has a point, outside of Dembele he's the only one that looked like doing anything today, and that's with being triple marked. The end result, our goal came because of his tenacity, drive, strength and skill to bulldoze forward, play a lovely ball to Chadli and thank fuck Chadli crossed. If Chadli had shot I would have got in the car, driven to Leicester and cold blooded murdered him! Then, after all Kane's good play, he proceeds to barge Wes Morgan (ergo, an absolute UNIT) out of the way so that the ball can reach our young eventual goalscorer.

Alli: Is he the finished article? No, not yet. He will overdo it sometimes, hit an overly ambitious pass, try to beat too many people. However, unlike the man he replaced, he is a footballer and a damn good one. He, Kane and Mason epitomise the fact that so much of this game is played in the mind, because they play with drive, determination and desire. We improved when he came on, he scored a good goal, and I'd happily start him next week for his attitude along.

Carroll: Did not overly affect the game but showed that he takes a good set piece.

Bentaleb: Very little time to do anything positive, negative or neutral.

Lloris 7.5
Alli 7 (just for the goal)
Toby 6
Kane/Mason/Lamela 5.3
Chadli/Davis/Walker/Dier/Vertonghen 5

Dembele a mixture of 4 through to 8. I can't categorise him because he showcases great strengths and then almighty weaknesses lol

When are we going to learn to concentrate after we've scored?

Vertonghen- minus a million- how is he an international defender? Utter shite every time he's faced up one v one, crap in the air, poor positionally, and incredibly lucky with all the fouls he gets away with in the box.

Everyone else- fuck it, I don't actually care. Some days I fucking hate football.

Can we have the 60s back? Or even the 80s?

Stream went wonky for a 15 minute spell where i missed both goals...but terrible defending for their goal.

Lloris - 7
Walker couple good moments but very average otherwise - 6
Davies - very average for most parts - 6
Vertonghen - becoming a habit him fucking up - 5
Aldeirweireld - was ok nothing more - 6
Dembele - either we use him as a focus hold up player or he must pass quicker, decent first half - 6
Dier - didnt look too comfortable not his fault but - 5.5
Mason - Liked him first half, was very probing with balls around the box. excellent understanding of kanes movement. but faded second half - 7
Lamela - worked hard all huff and puff, like having scott parker on the wing but not as good. - 5.5
Chadli - average for most of the game, was it his cross for the goal? ...6
Kane - tried but its like Usain Bolt anchoring a relay team of snails, by the time he gets it, its over 6

Need to offload lamela sooner than later.
Rose should've been our LB not Davies.
Dier as DM only if vs ManU ManC Chelsea or Arsenal.
Should reinstate Lennon

We must have been watching a different game cause I counted one good cross and one good pass to Chadli. Aside from that his crossing was poor, his passing was pretty poor, he was way too high up the pitch leaving Dier/Dembele to fill in at right back a lot, and wasn't particularly good defensively, did his job well about half the time. Looking forward to the EL so Trippier can force his way into the PL side

I love Lloris as much as anyone, but he had 1 save on the game - on a ball hit at his chest. He got beat near post on one shot, and far post on another. Not sure I understand all the 6 and 7+ ratings for him in this game. Maybe he could not have done much on the goal - but he really did not do anything else all game to move the needle for me.

Lloris 6.5 - nothing wrong. Good save at him at the end

Walker 6 - tried going forward, didnt fill with confidence at the back
Alderweireld 6.5 - best of a bad bunch
Vertonghen 5 - poor, not brave enough. not a leader
Davies 5 - so, so far behind Rose

Mason*7 - didnt shy away, industrious. Tried to get on the ball.
Dier 6.5 - ok. Did enough.

Chadli 6.5 - lethargic, wasteful but came up with the assist
Lamela 5 - busy, but as always, ineffective
Dembele 6.5 - bright but frustrating, at the same time

Kane 6 - isolated and didnt look threatening besides 1-2 later moments

Alli* 7 - bright, took responsibility. Other players take note.
Carroll - no time to rate, ok set pieces
Bentaleb - no time to rate
