It's a good result but it feels underwhelming because we lacked control. We had less of the ball and fewer shots on goal.

I think Nuno has improved our defence but it's still Mourinho's style of player and is the sort of performance I would expect going forwards, unless there are significant investments into the team.

We don't have players with the qualities needed to play a dominant style of football. What we have are players who are good on the break. This is highlighted when Kane came on, we immediately looked better on the ball.

While I'm happy that Nuno is optimizing the hand he is dealt with, as fans I feel that we need to recognize the squad's limiation.
Agree. We are 4/5 players short of competing for top 4.

Given that we had that team on the pitch ,its understandable that we played like that . Reinforcements are clearly needed . We weathered many storms , but you can't expect the ball to be pinging around our pen area for so much of a match and ill fortune not to occur .

Many Dele(7) MoM's here , but positive comments 100% refer to his effort ...and yes ,great it was . However there's no real sign of improvements in technique . With both TN and Gio yet to come through for us he's still an asset , but we must hope for more skill from a new player in his position to progress imo.

Sonny (5) , true to form , simply hates playing intense teams and goes into his shell...like he did 2nd half of last season , he's a fair-weather player unfortunately .

Best match yet from Bergie (7) but Moura (5) disappointed , like Sonny he just lost his appetite for the match and was rightly hooked .

Anyway 6 points from 2 matches , good stuff .

Voted for Sanchez but glad to say that Dele has seemingly taken the path I hoped he would after a difficult 15 months. The 'flicky Ali' persona he took on, almost cost him his EPL career. He needed to be honest, improve his fitness and become a harder working player. I feel he has done that now and this performance can show the path he needs to follow to regain his status as a Spurs star and possible England midfielder.

I voted Dele. He was much more disciplined in his CM role than other times I've seen him play. I noticed he was really covering Reguillon a lot of the time. Going forward he wasn't show-boating too much and did get in some good positions. He seems to have got his mojo back and Nuno has found a role for him. Prior to this I always thought there was some fairly major compromise to having him in the team, but he seems to be working quite nicely in a CM3 setup which I didn't think he had in him. He also provides a genuine goal threat from CM which we badly need.
