No performance was deserving of a MOTM award. The players were weak and should have been harassing the referee a lot more about the time wasting.

Llorente deserves a fucking slap and so does Poch for selecting him and game management

The players are weak? Don’t be daft, the players may have struggled to get the result against a packed defence but the sheer will to try to break that door down and not give in until they had achieved just that showed anything but weakness.

Spurs of old draw that game, or even lose to a sucker punch after doing something desperate and getting punished by a counter. Last night’s players were bloody strong.

One thing we seem to have a problem doing is putting the ball in front of a running Son or Moura. They always get the ball to feet standing still, or behind them when in a stride. This is killing momentum and also taking away the advantage of pace that these players have.

I agree, Trips gets so much hype about his crossing, but cant remember the last time he put a good cross in

He was not good last night, fair play.

Forgetting who put in the very good cross for Llorente's hip to put us into the CL semi final is somewhat convenient for the narrative?

Not my fault you didn't say that. I merely responded to you saying you can't remember the last time he put in a decent cross.

That one was a cross, and it was pretty decent.
so this season do you think overall Tripps crossing has been up to a good standard?

Dreadful game, both sides got what they deserved. Refs really have to stamp on time wasting.

Based on what i saw last night, its actually worse than that as i dont remember any balls being played through for Sonny and Lucas to run onto OR balls played in to Llorente with his back to goal!
Crap crosses and long range shots is all i remember from the whole evening!

Yeah. I mean, we always talk about signing more pace and now we played our two pacy players. That's when we need to play that way. No short passing back and forth.

Lloris 6. Didnt have much to do and what he did was poor.
Trippier 5. Refused to cross the ball, beat nobody and gave away moronic freekick late on.
Toby 7. That crossfield ball to Rose was amazing. Please please stay.
Verts 6. Announced over the pa that he was about to take a shot 3 fkin times and we were hit on the break because of it. If he'd taken any longer to get his shot off he'd have been booked for time wasting!
Rose 8. Battled all game. My mom but a few shocking crosses, one of which hasnt come down yet.
Wanyama 7. Did ok. Looked a bit slow again at times but getting back to fitness.
Eriksen 8. Had more of the ball than anyone. Probed probed and probed. Lot of stray balls but he's trying to make something happen at least.
Son 6. This is not his type of game. No room to move. No space to use his pace. Did ok.
Moura 6. Same as Son. Unlucky with a few shots.
Alli 6. Just not his night. Frustrated by lack of space. Worked hard.
Llorente 4. Totally ineffective. Could have gone for a fag nobody would have noticed. How he stayed on the pitch I'll never know.

Poch 6. Starting line up was ok but subs were too late and, well, baffling.

Overall game 2. Football but not as we know it.

Bit harsh giving anyone too much of a hard time. It wasnt football, just a totally shit game.

I expect West Ham game to be the exact opposite, open as fk and end to end. Give our talented players room to breath.

Do you we think our GK coach will analyse that punch from Lloris when he could have easily caught it? That could have cost us. We are dealing in small margins

We tried about 20 times, but Dunk & Duffy blocked all of them except two, both to Son on the right.

The box had 15 players in it most of the match.
Where exactly were Son and Moura supposed to run at pace? Down the wing?

Dele is best in and around the box sniffing stuff out.

.

Absolutely . Dele (5) is not suited to his mf role . When we break and he's got the ball we slow right down . We saw what he can
do in opposition pen area with that one sublime moment . For Ajax 1st leg surely he'll be in attack with no Sonny (6)

Love Danny's (8) never say die attitude, inspirational to teammates imo . He's really coming back . He was going past defenders 1st half . Yes his crossing needs to improve .

Italian Statue (3)...was he trying ?

We're gonna miss Toby (8) big time . His passing is a real weapon .He'll be insanely rich come August .

Chink of light with Eriksen (8) MoM contract ? . Throw money at him .
