Wanyama was a beast. My kids who generally indulge me with matters Tottenham kept chanting his name after about ten minutes with sincerity. They even cheered when he took out Costa, without any real sense of context from last season. I cried when they went to bed. For good reasons, obviously

2014-5 Poch for a mentality I've never seen before. Being 29 I was born into a "squeaky bum" nappy before maturing into "holy shit we're only 3 ahead" potty training.

'Arry's "we'all win 4-3" pre school has a new head master, installing a mentality which is tear jearkingly emotional for a fan era knowing no better. When the players don't believe, but know, we can beat anyone - not on our day, but anyday - it's amazing.

Our performances now nightlight cogs in the wheel rather than someone bigger than the wheel. We have stars but that's No longer the be all and end all.

Obviously an immense team performance but the three stands out were Eriksen, Dele and Wanyama - he epitomised the whole team performance putting out fires left, right and centre relieving pressure and putting us on the front foot.

Alli and Eriksen combined twice to deliver the two genuine moments of real quality but Wanyama was at the heart of that immensely solid platform that repelled practically everything they mustered up coming forward.

Without that integral contribution I do feel they would of created a lot more. For that reason he gets my MOTM, what a stonking performance.

Wanyama made Kante look like the bloke in Benny Hill who used to get patted on the head tonight. Monster performance.

But the rest were amazing 10's all round

10 to the Ref too. Didn't fall for their bullshit.

Thought we were brilliant throughout. Wanyama MOM.

Is it only me (I haven't actually checked the stats and compared with the other formations that we've applied this season), but doesn't Toby play less of a role in our build-up play when we are applying the three at the back, with Dier and Jan being more involved? They both do that well, and it could just be that our opponents have focussed on closing down Toby, but he seems to be less involved than usually. Not a big issue considering how comfortable they are with the ball, but I was just wondering.

Think you have the distribution of points bang on but I think you have everyone 2pts too low!
Nope, everyone's getting carried away with this victory tonight. We were very good defensively and every player put in a shift but imo we could of used the ball better in the final third and created more chances and I don't think we dominated the game which seems to be the general opinion.

Bring on the disagrees :sneaky:

Wanyama absolutely immense tonight. All round everyone was top notch. An amazing team performance.

Shout to Maurice who must have worked on the fasy pass to walker, cut in to Eriksen, cross to Alli at the back stick. Almost 2 identical goals...that was no accident.

10/10 for them all. 10/10 for Poch as well. If I had to be critical our passing is the only bit that annoyed me. Loving us with 3 at the back against the bigger teams. Really suits us and those 3 are rocks. Victor my MOTM. A beast in the middle.

Best defensive performance by any team in the prem this year I would of thought.

And Jesus, Wanyama, that was pretty special.
