I have always said give our mid field time to blend, we would have the best midfield in the league. Bentancur my MOTM.

Perisic was my MOM.

Lloris - 6 - nothing to do.
Royal - 3 - Not good enough - appalling crossing AGAIN! Do not want to see him play for us again. How the hell can Spence not even get on the bench when this joker starts?
Dier - 3 - Cost us the game with a school boy error. Without the luxury of being the spare man sweeper he is a very average CB.
Lenglet - 6 - OK
Davies - 5 - Bad first half.
Sessegnon - 5 - Just so unconfident and plays within himself all the time - how did he ever make it as a footballer with no belief or swagger?
Bentancur - 8 - Usual very high standards.
Højbjerg - 7 - Gave everything.
Bissouma - 7 - Much better second half.
Perisic - 8 - Our best player, unlucky not to score after hitting the woodwork twice.
Kane - 7 - Great goal, but he is wasted when we defend so deep for so long.

Kulusevski - 8 - Changed us as a team
Doherty - 7 - So much better than Royal offensively.
Moura - Too late to mark him.

Conte - 6 - Hard ot fault him when we were missing Romero, Son, Kulusevski and Richarlison, but he was again too cautious first half and it is the same mistake EVERY week.

Ref - Special mention for the ref who was dog shit. That was a penalty all day long, even Redknapp and Souness both agreed. Missed so many fouls too.

Bissouma my man of the match.

Bentancur and Perisic both excellent.

Kulusevski’s impact is frightening.

Great finish by Kane.

Dier making errors someone at his age and level really shouldn’t.

Royal wasn’t bad defensively today but I’d bet there are several people on this forum who could deliver a better cross than him.

Bissouma for me. Only one DM needed and he did it.

First half, everyone donkeys

Second half - a different team... AGAIN!

People moaning that Conte hasn't got his players so that's why we playing like this are sipping up his coolade. It's the same players in the second half that are playing better. Our players are good enough. Conte just needs to stop shackling them in the first half for no reason. What's the point in going in at half time losing? And before you say it's not Conte, how is it every game? Even Michael Owen has noticed and he is clueless

Conte 4 - first half backfired again. Second half the players couldn't save it. The players clearly like his second half tactics.

Bissouma MOM for me - excellent performance.

Lenglet also decent again along with Bentancur.

Great finish from Kane and brilliant to see Kulu back.

I actually thought we played well today after a nervy start. The Dier brain fart killed us, on another day we win that

Shall we ignore his body shape when Robertson went past him like he wasn't even there. People say Emerson is good defensively...no, no he isn't.

- Lloris - 6 - Fine. Not at fault for either goal.

- Emerson - 2 - Where did he actually play? Wasn’t defending anyone, and deferred to Dier in attack. Totally useless. Please stop playing him.
- Dier - 5 - Actually played pretty well outside of his mistake (which cost him a few points from me). Crossing put Emerson to shame.
- Lenglet - 7 - Defended well and was calm on the ball. Should have done better with his chance at the other end.
- Davies - 6 - Was given the run around for the first 15mins, but grew into the game.
- Sessegnon - 6 - His movement caused TAA a lot of problems. Final ball was lacking, but should have got a pen.

- Hojbjerg - 6 - Was probably the least effective of the midfield trio, but still put in a decent display.
- Bissouma - 8 MOM - His best performance for us. Won the ball back regularly, calm and neat on the ball, and kept us ticking. Also kept Thiago at bay.
- Bentancur - 8 - A rare combination of tenacity and elegance. Brilliant at hassling the opposition, and almost impossible to dispossess at times. Totally class. Perhaps a touch quiet first half.

- Perisic - 6 - Tried his best to be a make-shift forward first half, and actually caused their defence an issue or two. But would have liked to have seen him take on TAA more when at wing-back, and some of his corners were uncharacteristically poor.

- Kane - 7 - Considering he was our main creative and attacking force for much of the game, I think he done okay against an imposing CB duo. Took his goal wonderfully well, which probably bumped him up a point.

SUBS:
Kulu was obviously class, and Doherty offered more in 25mins than Emerson did in the other 65.

Lenglet for me. Best game so far

Lloris 6
Royal 6
Dier 6 stupid error, otherwise played OK. Good getting forward in 2nd half on right side
Lenglet 8 Very good. Passing out was inventive and tackling decisive
Davies 7 Battled well
Sess 6 Gets into the positions I would prefer a winger to get into. Final touch, pass or shot not good enough. Unlucky with the penalty as definitely shoved over
Bentancur 7 superb player, so fluent in possession
Bissouma 7 He is growing into this team. You can see the genuine skill and control when he has less time to think
PEH 6 Battled as always. Didn't offer much in possession
Perisic 7 Unlucky to hit the woodwork twice. When at left back after Sess substituted looked very good
Kane 7 Feeding off scraps as usual. Well taken goal and fought well. He must be so pleased Deki returning

Deki 7 Produced the pass for our goal almost immediately. Great to have him back
Doherty 6 Did OK
Moura Not enough time

Conte 5 Despite the injuries which are difficult to manage the team started so passively again.

Weirsly, I think that is the best we have played in a long time, apart from converting chances of course

Our 3 best players were fine, Kane, Deki and Bentancur. Bissouma was best IMO, finally showing that last season's form.

It’s probably Bissouma for me, and that’s without being at all progressive with the ball. Shows how dominant he was off the ball and with his footwork. Covered immense amounts of ground too. He really is on the cusp of being very special, just show a tad more courage and risk in possession because he has the quality to be those things.

He went past Bentacur too in the same dribble

Is he allowed to though...

I thought all our CBs were awful at various times in the game. Just really poor individual errors handing Liverpool opportunities and at times giving them so much room in the box. Even when he was in form Dier was doing ridiculous things for no reason, he’s not good enough and needs upgrading.
Midfielders I thought were great especially Bissouma with his best game for us.
Wing backs really poor, Emerson has so much space constantly but is just a complete waste of time. Feel kinda bad for him but he needs to stop starting for us. Sess is just so timid overall, I just don’t think he’s really got it to ever be a top level wing back for us.
Perisic was pretty good and threatening overall, Kulu massively changed the game. Stating the obvious but we’re on another level with him on the pitch.
Theyre all playing for the manager and trying though which is a good sign. Just need better players and we can judge things properly.

Yes he did but when do people proclaim Bentancur's strongest part of his game is his defending?
He started off as a DM in our team... Breaking up attacks
