Bissouma easily today. Thought he was excellent at doing the simple things well and kept the ball ticking over.

Kulu came on and showed why he is first choice on the right. Intelligent, tricky and one of only 3 players who seem capable of creating chances (Perisic and Kane being the others). Immediately brought levels up as soon as he got on the ball. We have missed him.

I thought all our CBs were awful at various times in the game. Just really poor individual errors handing Liverpool opportunities and at times giving them so much room in the box. Even when he was in form Dier was doing ridiculous things for no reason, he’s not good enough and needs upgrading.
Midfielders I thought were great especially Bissouma with his best game for us.
Wing backs really poor, Emerson has so much space constantly but is just a complete waste of time. Feel kinda bad for him but he needs to stop starting for us. Sess is just so timid overall, I just don’t think he’s really got it to ever be a top level wing back for us.
Perisic was pretty good and threatening overall, Kulu massively changed the game. Stating the obvious but we’re on another level with him on the pitch.
Theyre all playing for the manager and trying though which is a good sign. Just need better players and we can judge things properly.
Emerson only finds himself in so much space because teams allow him to have it. If we had a fully efficient right wing back, they would not have half the space on the right hand side as Emerson, you would therefore hopefully see more space open up in the midfield as the opposition team would spread further apart.

He is basically killing the attacking element of our team even when not touching the ball, as the opposition don't have to worry about him.

View from the south stand.

Hugo - 6 - A few dodgy moments in no-man’s land that could have cost us. A few good saves.

Lenglet/Davies - 6 - Not much to say. Neither great, neither awful.

Dier - 4 - I think I’m being generous here too. Had a good up close view of him the first half and he was shocking. Spent the whole half marking space, leaving Emerson to deal with 3 players and then shouting at him when he couldn’t. Then does his usual fuck up per game and costs us the match.

Sess - 5 - Some good moments in attack but should be doing better.

Royal - 6.5 - He wasn’t that bad but Dier made him look poor. He also got a lot of abuse from the fans and it was largely undeserved.

Bissouma - 8 - His best game for us. Played just in front of defence and swept up a lot of balls that would otherwise have caused us problems.

Bentacur - 8 - Fast becoming undroppable. Did a decent job helping Royal out and was non-stop in middle.

PEH - 7 - Solid but not as good as the other 2 in midfield.

Perisic - 7.5 - A LOT went through him but for whatever reason it just wasn’t working. Had a good view of him second half and he never once tried to beat a player for pace but instead would rely on taking a touch and whipping in a cross. A couple of awful attempts on goal he should have done better with too.

Kane - 6 - Knackered. Not sure he sprinted once.

Deki - 8.5 - Changed the game when he came on. Provided options and caused their defence constant worries.

Doherty - 7 - Better than Emerson but had to compare as we were on front foot whole half.

Bissouma had his best game for us and was very impressive. But I gave it to Kane, who for the second game in a row, ran himself into the ground for the cause. With the WC only 15 days away that’s an impressive performance. No thought of saving himself for the WC.

Kulu, he wasn't on for long but in such a short space of time he showed what we have missed and what we so desperately need.

Dier is a fucking dick and so is the referee and var!

I thought that was our best performance for some time over the 90. Bissouma settling in nicely now, my motm. We are an entirely different team when Deki is on the pitch.

Bissouma for me. Only one DM needed and he did it.

First half, everyone donkeys

Second half - a different team... AGAIN!

People moaning that Conte hasn't got his players so that's why we playing like this are sipping up his coolade. It's the same players in the second half that are playing better. Our players are good enough. Conte just needs to stop shackling them in the first half for no reason. What's the point in going in at half time losing? And before you say it's not Conte, how is it every game? Even Michael Owen has noticed and he is clueless

Conte 4 - first half backfired again. Second half the players couldn't save it. The players clearly like his second half tactics.
Explain Diers header back to Lloris.

Conte has spoke many times about the team starting slow it might be a mental thing rather than tactical.

Explain every slow start this season being Diers fault
