Solid performance and a third consecutive clean sheet at home in the PL for the first time since 2019 (I might be wrong on this but just feels like it’s been this long). Monumental display by our back line and the midfield duo of Skipp & PEH were immense. The wing backs syncing so well and this will surely give the whole team belief that we can still do something special this season. Plus being a fellow 5 ft 8 height guy got such a soft spot for Skippy: man of the match!

Forster 7 - Did what he needed to do when he needed to do it.

Romero 8 - Everywhere. So agressive. I love him. One thing I did notice today though was at times he was a little too relaxed in position...almost nonchalant and he nearly paid the price. He needs to watch that.

Dier 7.5 - Really solid today

Lenglet 7 - Same as Dier. Nothing bombastic but just solid.

Emerson 8.5 - Fantastic again. Threat in atatck, solid in defence, massive work ethic. Sensational

Davies 6 - Quiet first half. Came more into the game second half and solid enough but did not have much involvement

Hojberg 7 - Solid

Skipp 8.5 - Another banger of a performance and what a goal

Richarlison 7 - Frustrating day for him again but even though he did not score he worked non-stop, was really good at winning possession playing deeper and was a constant annoyance to Chelsea. He did'nt score but added a lot.

Kane 7 - Patchy kind of performance today but in typical fashion he scores a goal.

Kulu 6 - still not quite at the races. Worked hard and feel today was an improvement but still quite rough around the edges

Subs:

Son 6 - Very quiet day but lovely corner for goal

Porro 6 - Some good ideas today and lot's of energy but did not quite come off for him. Not much time.

Fans 11 - watch at home but the place was bouncing...glorious hearing the stadium that loud on tv. Making it a real fortress there.

Special mention - Our defence was so tight today. So weel drilled, so in tune with each other, really contained the Chelsea threat and I loved at the end seeing Royal and Romero double up. They did not get a sniff. Superb.

MOM - Skipp just shading Royal because of the goal.

I was going to go with team effort today - everyone pulled their weight today - and there were a number of standout performers.

But, my god, what a beautiful goal from Skippy. He had a great all-round game, but his first goal, our first league goal against Chelsea in the new stadium, the timing of it after halftime - give that man the award!

Skipp and PEH - 8
Davies and Emerson - 7.5
Dier, Kane - 7
Everyone else - 6.5

Solid team performance all round so I'll go team effort.

Awful performance against a team bang out of form. Yes we created a few chances in the second half but nowhere near enough overall and sloppy mistakes at the back yet again
Hahahaha

You forgot Romero - 9
Nope I didn't, he has to many instances where he's too relaxed and the ball gets away from him, got lucky a couple of times today and he needs to reign in the aggression so it's controlled and sensible.

Think he's got bundles of potential but is a bit overrated by our fans to be honest.

Cant give it to romero for how casual he was on the ball, couldve cost us, but defensively was great.

Emerson again put in a performance, dier too, forster solid, generally everyone but went with skipp happy for him and aside from the early penno shout was great.

Skipp or Romero but went with the whole squad. Everyone looked hungry, everyone had the fight, no passengers today which is great!! Richi might not do too much on the stat sheet but he is such a pest and forces their defense to play dangerous passes. Kulu had a great game as well, took players on again and it worked, him and royal and so good together.

Went for Skipp but could have easily been any of Royal, Romero, PEH and Skippy.

Thought it was a greta team performance.

Massive shout out to Richarlison as well, when son came on the left James started popping up with space and time, but the man just works his socks off and does anything and everything to help the team. Think his goals will come, but his impact can't be underestimated in the last few games.

Romero was my pick. But I don't think anyone played badly. A good team performance.
